This week was going alright until Thursday night when I got an email basically telling I should drop my microeconomics class because it is projected that I will fail the course. Lovely. I really don't know the point of that, since if I dropped I wouldn't even be a student anymore. But I am not going to let that ruin my weekend. (Which does involve a huge packet for that said class, a UW paper, and studying for my world history mid-term. O the joys await!) I had grand plans of traipsing over to the White House to see whats been happening with all those shenanigans over there lately, but the forecast is rainy and cold. :/ This week is going to the gutter.
Besides all that, I know I have a fun giveaway for you all next week so be on the look out! I'm also going to randomly state my obsession with adding tahini to everything! Soom Foods Tahini is the bomb. I've just been slathering it on chicken, fish, potatoes, you name it. I already have an open jar, but I randomly won a giveaway (that I don't remember entering) and won a new jar that came this week! Woohoo tahini abundance! (They have chocolate tahini which I need to try...or I could just add my own cocoa powder to my original...)
And now I'm off to go teach my UW class about analyzing the social sciences in essay writing with my partner Pierre. Should be a good time. See you all Monday!

A few things I loved about my week or am grateful for:
+ I hit 1000 Facebook Likes! Now it's over that, but how awesome! I don't even use my page much 😛 Thanks guys! XOXO
+ Another week closer to seeing my mom! She is coming down in a few weeks!!!
+ Tea. Thank god for tea. Like I mentioned above, I need to lay off the coffee. I stopped drinking it for years due to my horrible reflux and messed up digestive track system. Obviously drinking more than one cup a day was a bad idea. Thus, tea is my drink of choice for the time being 😛
+ Again, working out has been feeling so good. Lifting weights is definitely the highlight of my week! (Even though I closed my finger in the cable hook and now it's black and blue...) Haha!
So tell me:
+ How did you week go? Any fun weekend plans?
+ What was you favorite post from the week?
+ Latest food obsession? Tahini.

Thanks for sharing my post too! I appreciate it!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

You're welcome Jennifer 🙂 Have fun reading!
Kaylin @ Enticing Healthy Eating
I can relate to the long, thin hair and needing recommendations for hair products--I enjoyed Julie's article as well. And the most iconic food of each state? I LOVE articles like that! Of course my home state of AR got Southern Fried Catfish. Mmmm....not going to lie, even though I'm a healthy eater at heart, I'm also a true Southern girl and there are few things in life that beat my mother's lightly pan fried catfish (or bass...or crappie...or bluegill...etc.)
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Hahaha. NJ just of course got the pork roll...typical. Processed meat, what a great iconic food, haha!
genevieve @ gratitude & greens
Congratulations on 1000 Facebook likes! Also, I love the apple graphic you included. So cute! Excited to read through all of these links. And good luck with school- I'm sure you'll pull through with the economic class!! Happy weekend to you xx
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Thanks so much friend! There are lots of good links to read!

Great articles, I just read like half the ones you posted! Hot yoga is my favorite, and I also love jumpsuits (except I'm short so I look like a toddler when I wear them). By the way, I nominated you for a Liebster award!

My weekend looks about like yours: homework, homework, and a bit of homework. Maybe I'll slip some baking in 🙂

Baking would be a good study break 😉

Started following you on Pinterest, and pinned those salted caramel bars - yum! Thank you so much for including my link this week - so kind of you. And since you are drinking tea, I want to tell you that I just bought Trader Joe's pumpkin tea, and it is wonderful. Not really pumpkin-y as much as the spices and feel of cider. I love it after dinner as a substitute for dessert. Have a great weekend Rebecca!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Haha! You will never be without food inspiration on my Pinterest!
I will have to track that tea down! Perfect for Fall 😉 XOXO

That really stinks that they would send an email like that very unprofessional for something so important. Don't listen to them do what it is in your heart it was put there for a reason, have a great weekend.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Haha, well what's in my heart is to say screw it to the class (I don't even need it now that I switched the major I'm in!)
