Okay, so I totally owe you (kinda) a mega-update. You know, on my yoga scholarship. So I did attend one studio class back in October (at the only studio I could easily get to, for a class that was to easy for me). It was different. I felt like I was back in dance class actually. I liked it, but I have nothing else to compare it to. Since I have been going though a rough transition with college and I do not have easy means of transportation (quickly), finding the right studio or going to the ones I want to try out, have not been able to happen. So the kind, wonderful, amazing people at Yogis Heart have been working with and helping me immensely. We are holding my scholarship until my life settles down (meaning that could be a few months, or most likely in the summer or the start of the next school year). Until then, they gave me full access to YogaGlo.com and they are renewing my MyYogaWorks.com subscription! I am so forever grateful and humbled by Yogis Heart. I can't thank them enough. I have taken one class on YogaGlo from the talented Kathryn Budig and really enjoyed it, so I can't wait to explore that new to me site further and expand my yoga knowledge one video at a time 😉
On that good-news note...have a look at this loaded Finisher! Happy reading through the weekend my friends! (And stay warm! It actually has not been bad here in DC...yet!)

A few things I loved about my week or am grateful for:
+ I finished that big essay of mine (plus the damn works cited!). I am really proud of this 8 page piece! I actually can't wait to hand it in and get feed-back!
+ This whole yoga thing getting ironed out! <3
+ Did you know THIS happened 😉 (Review coming soon!)
+ Since writing this post, I have been CRAVING a book! (That can happen, right?) So I have decided to start one this weekend! I need reading back in my life!
So tell me:
+ Have you ever been on YogaGlo? I love how they have a TON of advanced level 3 vinyasa classes that are actually long (i.e 60-90 minutes!)
+ Has it snowed in your neck of the woods? I am thanking the weather gods for holding out and giving me bearable temperatures!
+ Are your Thanksgiving plans ironed out? I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of going home (with all that traffic!) or just having my dad come down and visit me here instead. Still deciding!

I have never checked out YogaGlo, but I am always looking for yoga sites that have long classes. I have a hard time getting to classes so I really like to practice at home. I am going to try it out!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Their "gallery" is HUGE and they have big name instructors! So far I really like it and I think they have some really good payment plans (so I've heard!)

I felt like I was letting them down, but they assured me that their mission is to HELP anyway they can through the use of yoga. Right now, this way is the way that will work, so they are 100% glad to do it and I am so thankful!

So many great posts, too little time! Love the turkey post. After reading that I'm not sure how anyone could eat one?
Yes, we had snow flurries all day yesterday, it stuck on the sidewalks and edges of my lawn.

Yes, no turkey for me 😉

I was wondering about the whole yoga thing, I'm glad it worked out! Crazy college life now...studio classes later. I used YogaGlo for a little while, now I use MyYogaOnline which just became part of GaiamTV. I don't have time to make it to studio classes either, plus there's only one studio in my town and it's not really my style.
Thanks for linking to my chewy bluey bars 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Yea...I think a studio isn't for me either. But I'll delve into that in another post 😉
I'm so glad I have a ton of video option now to supplement my own practice! It is so great!
And of course! I really love them 😉
Brie @ Lean, Clean, & Brie
I love MyYogaWorks! I have had a subscription to it since the summer and I have really enjoyed trying out all the different routines. The yoga for runners has been my favorite 😉 Have a wonderful weekend! I hope the snow holds out a little bit longer for you! It has been snowing in Michigan already this week 🙁
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
My favorite on MyYogaWorks (favorite class ever maybe), is the Relentless Flow! Check it out!
Really, I don't mind the snow...I just hate the wind and cold! Haha! Snow can be very pretty 😉
Stay warm my friend! XOXO

As usual I am overwhelmed with wanting to click through to way too many of these. I'll be busy. Starting with the about page. Need to work on mine BIG time.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
About pages are so....weird! I want to say so much, but that would be to long! It is hard to think of the essential info you want to draw someone in with!
Marissa
That is so nice of them to help you out like that. Also I love how you have the other blog post from the week up. I totally want to do that if I ever write more frequently. Plus, I started following because of the good. Yum! 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Yes, they are so wonderful! That's part of their mission though, helping young adults out in big ways!
Thank you!

I love your Friday articles! I'm just starting to get into pinterest and now I must follow you! Too much social media for me to keep up with.
