And with that, it is the last day of September! This month was definitely a change from the summer months and it seemed to be a lot longer. I'd look to see how many more days we had left and still I'd find another week to get through. It's just that "first month" of a new school year that got to me, I guess. Looking ahead now to October, I see some pretty packed weekends and even midterms at the end of the month! I want this time to go by fast, but not so fast I don't have time to keep grounding myself! (Did you know there are 85 days till Christmas!?)
It's funny that I already feel a change in my blogging feeling from the summer. Writing up blogs posts feels so easy and nice now. A break from the "stress work" of classes and studying. I can easily pump out a blog post and editing photos in about 2 hours now and not feel drained. A nice outlet, I guess! (That haunting 10-page research paper we're just starting and the "over-my-head" info of chemistry is not what I'd call energizing!)
So I'm off for more work, writing, studying (chemistry). That's my biggest hurdle right now. Chem. It came SO easy to me in high school and now...complete gibberish. This weekend calls for a major study session to get this past month of lessons down! I hope you have a much more enjoyable time reading through the Friday Finisher! I do hope to take a break this weekend and finally do something I love...COOKING! See you back here Monday!

I LOVE going to Asian markets. At our old place, we had one just around the corner and we went there like at least once a week. Now I have to plan to go at least every few weeks, because I need my tofu, thai coconuts, tempeh, faux meat, udon noodles,.. haha 😀 I'm so excited to see what you're going to cook with your haul!

That crispy coconut cauliflower = MIND BLOWN. Seriously that looks amaze-balls. Oh and I need that post about how to turn around a bad day. It was my first week solo with my newborn and toddler and it kicked my butt. Soooo many times I just needed to breathe deeply and say, "this too shall pass"!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I know! She is a genius!
I've been using that phrase....very often this past week 😛 xo

I really was hoping you could tutor me 😛

hahaha, it was my worst subject! You do not want me as your chem tutor. If you ever take anatomy, I can be of assistance! :O!
Kristina @ Ms.Modify
I really hope Starbucks adds gluten free options!!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
My mom would love it if they did!
Linda @ Veganosity
College chem is a totally different beast and so is calculus. Alex breezed through those two classes in high school and had a melt down trying to get through those college courses. She did it, but it wasn't fun. You'll be fine, just keep working hard. 🙂
Love this weeks links, especially the Acceptance one and the Why I Ride one. I needed to read those today.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
It may be tutor time for me 😛 This stuff is just going totally over my head!
Patricia @Sweet and Strong
I love ethnic markets and learning about different foods and spices. I am very excited to do some cooking and maybe Fall baking this weekend. I love having the extra time on the weekends when meals don't feel rushed. And uh CHEM! So much harder in college for some reason, good luck!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I hope the weather clears up so I CAN cook and PHOTOGRAPH! Otherwise, no new recipes again 🙁
rachel @ Athletic Avocado
Chemistry sucks! hope you become less stressed, I know it's not fun! I Love asian food markets, so much awesomeness! Have a great weekend 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
If only chemistry could bring as much joy as Asian food 😛

yesterday I TOTALLY felt that 'fall' feeling...it was a bit chilly out, the wind was a bit up, sun up, and we just stayed outside forever, windows open inside the house...TERRIFIC! i'm so thankful to live in IN where we have all season!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
It was so windy and cold here! Not fun! I don't want "all the seasons"!
