Welcome to a new week and the last week of February at that! February flew by don’t you think? No, not because it is just 3 days shorter then most months (really why do people make it such a big deal that it is a the shortest month? It really isn’t that different from 30 to 31 days). Anyway, It was blissfully “warm” this weekend, like 50s! But now the cold is supposed to come back (20-30s) this week with the possibility of snow sometime from like Tuesday to Wednesday. Ugh!
Okay weather rant over. I was semi-productive over the weekend which is a major plus 🙂 I think making pancakes two days in a row helped with that 😉
But besides pancake mornings, I was able to knock out an English essay first thing on Saturday (after pancakes), try my hand at homemade almond butter (I am not really impressed with the Ninja’s nut butter making capabilities though….), grocery shopping, other studying, blog posts, caught up on the Walking Dead, Yoga (which left me sore and happy!), and other to-do list items. Now it is back to the grind, maybe we will have a full week of school? Maybe not?
Anyway, yoga is awesome. Yea I have said it before and I will say it again. Yoga is awesome! It is beautiful, it is strength, it is confidence, it is love. Everyone’s practice is different though. Some are able to do all the crazy inversions and arm balances out there. Some have found such a beautiful serene calm it seems like nothing can distract them. But whatever it is, everyone’s practice is an inspiration to me. If you practice yoga I think your practice is beautiful no matter what you do.
I used to just follow bloggers on my Instagram, but then I started coming across some amazing yogi accounts. Some of these yogis are teachers, practicers, newbies, and inspirations. I love finding new yoga accounts to follow. I love all the crazy videos of amazing asanas and even the progression pictures of poses they have been working on. So I thought I would put together some of the amazing yogis I am following right now in a post. If I had some better place to snap yoga pics on my phone I would so hop on the yogi-IG train. Maybe in the summer when I can go outside again! But until then lets all look at these beautiful yogis!
Make sure you check them all out! A lot of these lovely ladies post mostly videos which is super awesome to see their actual skills in practice! Hopefully they will give you inspiration for your own practice. No matter what level you are at, your yoga is beautiful and these ladies prove that!
Have a happy yoga filled Power Monday! Yoga On!
So tell me:
Do you have a favorite yogi Instagramer?
What is your favorite thing to Instagram? Food! Obviously! It is basically the only thing I Instagram…it is the easiest to set up 😉
