The laziest and easiest 3-ingredient recipe hack! Microwave Gluten-Free S’mores, top 8 allergy-free, vegan, and the perfect dessert or snack for when a chocolate, marshmallow, cookie craving hits and you don’t have time to start a campfire!
It’s about to get REAL over here on Strength and Sunshine today! Who says you need flames to have a classic s’more? Who says you can’t have s’mores any day of the year, and season, and without leaving the coziness of the kitchen? I’ve already showed you that s’mores can be done in fun ways without a campfire, but what about legitimate classic s’mores? Well, guess what? I have the easiest, laziest, quickest gluten-free s’mores hack you will ever find…
All you need is one of my favorite appliances, these gluten-free graham crackers, this vegan marshmallow fluff, and some good chocolate. You also need a lack of s’mores dignity. You may piss off a few s’more purists, but they just don’t know what they’re missing 😉 I’m all for lighting the campfire, fire-pit, or gathering around a big old bonfire. Even using a charcoal grill or even the gas stove top! But guess what? These gluten-free s’mores actually need to be made in the microwave. Since we’re using allergy-free marshmallow fluff, things could get messing it we tried to someone hold it over a fire (stick will not work!)
I know, right? Now you HAVE to be lazy! I’m giving you full permission (but you don’t need me telling you, eh?) I’ve dreamt about DIYing one of those fancy little fire-pits in my backyard for years. It seems like an obvious thing to have in the area I live (everyone else has one!) and it’s not even that hard to do! Just dig out a wide circle, get some nice stones from HomeDepot or Lowe’s, stack them, and…make a fire? There’s still plenty of time for that; maybe I’ll get around to it this summer! If not, at least I have these microwave gluten-free s’mores to give me the cozy feels instead 😉
Easy 3-Ingredient Microwave Gluten-Free S’mores
- Assemble gluten-free graham cracker, square of chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and another gluten-free graham cracker in that order.
- Pop it in the microwave on a plate for 20 second intervals until the chocolate is softened/melted to your liking!
Booya! There is nothing to it! This may be one of those dangerous hacks to have in the back of your head now. It’s so easy to slap together a gluten-free s’more and throw it in the microwave! You won’t be hating on me for showing you this hack though. Now all my gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free, peanut-free, lazy friends can enjoy the summer classic (year-round!)
