Dear Yoga,
We met about 9 months ago, on a cold and gloomy December morning.
I had some extra time on my hands and decided to use that free 30 day trial form myogaonline.com.
I started with a nice easy flow and was surprised by how you made me feel.
I knew we needed to met again, so I scheduled a date the next morning.
This went on for awhile until my trial ran out. Then I had to hurry and find a new way to be with you.
I came across doyogawithme.com and their classes were all free.
We could see each other every day if we wanted.
Then I got busy with school again and only had time to see you once on the weekend.
But that was okay, at least we could check in and keep in touch.
We kept this up and then once school let out I decided I wanted to see you more.
Tuesdays and Saturdays became the days we met. And I loved every minute of it.
We are keeping this schedule even with the start up of school, but things seem to be working out, yes?
You have made me so strong, both physically and mentally.
You have taught me who to breath and find peace.
You have allowed me to get frustrated, yell, cry, and hate you at times.
But you keep drawing me back and allowing me to find peace, love, joy, stability, and happiness.
You help me work through my problems and stress and you never rush me or get angry.
You are patient and kind.
We are good for each other even though we don't always see eye to eye.
When we get together, it is just you and me.
No judgement, no expectations, just time to connect with ourselves and the space around us.
Thank you Yoga for being a true friend, a shoulder to lean on, and a love that I am so glad to have met.
Love and Namaste,
Rebecca
No questions today, just leave your thoughts and love if you wish. Have a peaceful Thursday and get in some yoga this week.

I just photographed a Yogi last week and she had some good moves. So do you! I have never tried it but I've heard it would be good for my stress. Thanks for linking up with our Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party!

I love this. I have literally been struggling with how I can fit yoga into my schedule. I have thought about doing the online yoga thing. Do you like them? I know I need it in my life and must find a way to motivate myself into making it a habit.

I love being able to turn on a class anytime any day! I only use free classes so my selection is limited but I rotate between about 5 different ones and never get bored.

I stumbled across your post through #LOBS. I love how you illustrate your relationship with yoga here. I love yoga so much, and I agree, it's always a struggle to fit it in amongst all the other things. But the clarify and peace I feel when I'm done - it's amazing. Your asanas are beautiful.

Thanks Stevie! Yoga is so wonderful and I wish everyone would give it a try, non-yogi's do not know what they are missing out on!

Thanks Ronni! 🙂 You definitely should, even if it is only a few Sun Salutations in the morning. Just something to reconnect with you body and spirit!
