To keep this allergy-friendly chicken salad egg-free, we’re ditching the mayo for delicious tahini, one of my favorite substitutes for mayo! Next just add in a whole dose of fresh crunchy veggies like celery, carrots, onion, parsley, and to add a sweet pop to balance the nutty tahini, some raisins will do the trick! Add some lemon juice, garlic, black pepper, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for good measure!
How do you actually make tahini chicken salad?
Since your chicken is already fully cooked, just defrost according to package directions and add it to a big mixing bowl. Then chop up all your veggies, add those to the bowl (with the raisins), and then add in the tahini and extra spices! That’s it! - Prepare the chicken according to package directions and add it to a large mixing bowl.
