Happy Friday! How was the first week of 2016 for you? Good, bad? Did you remember to breath, regardless? I'm trying to...trying being the key word there. At least the sun was bright and shining all week after such a dreary rainy holiday season. But with that tease, the bitter cold has arrived. O, January, February, March. Can we erase you from the year? That would be nice! At least I'm still on winter break for another week or so, so I'll keep my mouth shut since I'm not obligated to brace that bitter cold much 😉
Just an update, like I said last week, this month is a bit haphazard with posting. It's not going to be your typical Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday solid schedule as you saw this week. So please make sure you're staying in the loop and are signed up for my email list so you know when I'm sharing the goods! Thanks for sticking with me here and I'm still excited about the recipes I'll be sharing this month! There are some fun things coming up! See you next week and have a lovely (warm) weekend! Happy Friday!
Monday: Peanut Butter Cup Protein Smoothie
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Macadamia Pineapple Chicken

Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday
It's been a strange week and I'm already feeling scattered. I'm sure some of it is post-holiday blues and some of it is just the way my brain works. I'm going to take the weekend and hopefully try to get a good grasp on life so I don't feel behind and crazy-stressed all year 😛
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Sounds good to me!! But you have an excuse since you're already back in school!
Gena

Vegan peanut butter hot chocolate? Holy shit that has my name all over it. I think the beginning of 2016 has been a mixture of uneasiness and confidence, I'm not really sure. I feel good but have no idea what is next! Which isn't the worst thing ever, I guess. Happy new year girl! <3
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
That thing looks unreal!!
Ah yea! I think I'm feeling that too! And like I said, one day at a time!!! No expectations!
xoxoxo
Natalie | Feasting on Fruit
The sun! Yes I am always grateful for sunny days during these months, sadly not too many of them here right now. I would be totally cool with going straight from November to March...or heck October to April! Why do they have to give us an extra day of February on the leap year?? Why not an extra day of July! Oh calendar problems :p Anyways, that Naan is pretty impressive! And Bianca's Onigiri--I want them so much 😮 Yummy yummy things as always. I hope you have a nice, huddled inside listening to podcasts sort of Friday <3
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
That extra day is killin' me already! Hahahaha!
Her recipe made my week! It's so unique!!!!!!
I am currently doing that exact thing! Podcast + blogging + cooking new recipe + candles lit (that smell like "Holiday Cookies") 🙂 xoxo
Bianca @ ElephantasticVegan
hah, you both are the sweetest! Thank you so much for including the onigiri, Rebecca 🙂 And I'm totally in for skipping the next months.. I'd give so much for warm weather again 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
How do you pronounce "onigiri"....
Bianca @ ElephantasticVegan
I think it's "oh-nee-gee-ree", at least that's how I say it 😀 the g is like in "gear" and not like in "engine".
Susie @ SuzLyfe
So many things that I missed! Glad someone is picking up the pieces for me 😀
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I've always got you covered 😉
Laura
Oh Rebecca. Your Friday Finisher always gets me so inspired - and makes me want to foregt all of Friday's looming school work and hang out in the kitchen making food. Thanks for including my running post and can't wait to check out some of the other great reads!

Loved the celebrity diet post. I've honestly never tried dieting and never will. I don't have the willpower or the desire.
Sorry you're in FB jail. That stinks. Can't wait to have you back!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
There's no need to ever "diet". Just eat food...real food, lol! Hahaha!
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
Love that peanut butter hot chocolate picture - how'd they do that?! I'm also feeling the pressure this week in all areas of life and now my sleep is off too. I KNOW I don't breathe enough!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I've been having trouble falling asleep this week too. Ugh! No good!
