A super easy, salty, sweet, and crunchy snack recipe! These Gluten-Free Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels are vegan, sugar-free, and top-8 allergy-free! Perfect for gift-giving, late night snacking, or a healthier kid-friendly treat!
Snack attack! Remember those chocolate-covered pretzels I shared last year? I gave them as Christmas gifts to some of my family, but I also gave these very cinnamon sugar pretzels too! They are super easy to coat and throw in the oven to bake up. Your house will smell like a sweet cinnamon wonderland! These pretzels are one of those extremely addictive snack foods. Sweet, salty, crunchy, and of course gluten-free, vegan, and sugar-free!
What are your snack preferences? Sweet, salty, crunchy, soft and cakey, puffed and light? I don’t really (ever) snack, but I think I’d go for something slightly sweet and savory with some crunch. Obviously these pretzels fit that bill! I was and still am a “non-salt” person. I have such an aversion to salty foods (except sauerkraut!) That’s why I don’t cook with added salt (you’ve never see “salt” in my recipes, as you know). My mom, on the other hand, LOVES salt, to an extreme.
She enjoys licking the salt off of super salty pretzels, adds salt to already salted foods, etc. I was always all about the unsalted pretzels while I was growing up; like these bad boys. So good thing my favorite gluten-free pretzels aren’t too overboard with the salt. Even if they were, the cinnamon sugar combo coating these crunchy bows balances all the flavor sensations perfectly!
Now, these gluten-free cinnamon sugar pretzels will please any taste preference. There must be something in human nature that loves that combo of sweet and salty. I mean, would you pass on a gift of these pretzels? I don’t think so! And because we’re using this as the sugar, we can call these healthy too ๐ More snacking, more munching, more cinnamon loving! Set these out on the appetizer table during your holiday parties, use them as a sweet option on a movie night, give them as a homemade edible gift, or..you know…store a secret stash that only YOU know about and YOU can get to when the craving arises ๐

So easy and delicious! You’ll probably find yourself baking batches upon batches just so you can leave your kitchen smelling SO good! Who knew that dressing up some typical hard pretzels at home would be the key to snacking success? Do they even make cinnamon sugar pretzels? Well, if they do, they sure won’t be gluten-free! As a holiday gift or not, I think (no, I know!) these will be a new favorite snack to keep in your pantry all year long! (Disclaimer: These will cause a snack addiction!)
