I am about to reveal my secrets. My secrets to the GREATEST grilled chicken you will ever make/taste/devour!
When my family requests grilled chicken (okay…of I request it for myself), this is the way I make it every time. Not really a recipe at all, but a formula for the most succulent grilled chicken. My special mixture of spices and perfect grilling time just seals the deal. If I were to choose a last meal, this would be it!
They are perfect right off the grill and even delicious when reheated if you want to make a bunch for meals throughout the week! No unnecessary oil or salt. Just pure good deliciousness! As your main dinner protein, perfect for summer BBQs, sliced or chopped for salads and lunches. Basically any meal or dish you need a fantastic protein for!

So, in last week’s Finisher I told you about the grill conundrum. Well, Thursday night my dad brought over an old (new to us) replacement grill! I didn’t have time to update that in the post, but now you know! If you’re keeping track, that makes it SIX grills now! Although, the broken one is sadly sitting outside on the deck right now and I’m not sure he counts in that tally anymore.
I’m a little nervous about the new grill though. I’ll have to “relearn” my cooking times and heat levels…and turning it on. This grill master will learn quickly though! I know it! I’ll finally be able to use the cedar planks I bought last month. I was going to grill salmon on them twice and both times there was something wrong with the grill. SO SAD! I’d been promising my brother his first taste of cedar plank grilling and I felt so bad. (Do people grill chicken on cedar planks?)

- Preheat your grill while you prepare the chicken.
- Take the 4 chicken breasts, trimmed and skinless, and place them in a bowl with the spices. Use your hands and rub the seasoning in, to coat.
- Place the chicken on an oiled piece of foil (celiac-safety, otherwise you can place right on the grill).
- Grill the chicken for 12 minutes on each side with the grill cover closed.
- Remove and enjoy…with ketchup!

I don’t live near a TJ’s, so when I get the chance to shop in one, I stock up on these or order on Amazon! I also tell you all about the uses and greatness of this seasoning in my free PDF! That seasoning is magic though, trust me! I use it not only on this grilled chicken, but salads, fish, dinner bowls…anything. It’s what I call me “all-purpose-when-I’m-lazy” seasoning.
