Always on the go with a to-do list a mile long, papers to write, emails to send, notes to jot down? Don't fret! You can stay productive & organized on the go so you don't fall behind in your busy and fast-paced life!
The hectic school season has officially begun and is in full-force! It's always a struggle to find your footing in a new year and get back in the "productive" routine that tends to fall to the wayside during those blissful summer months. The school season affects all of us (even if you're many years post-grad). From September to May the "hustle" is real (I know I feel it!) I'm always looking for the best way to stay on top of school work, blogging, internships, and normal day-to-day tasks that just have to get done. Somehow I always seem to find a way to keep things under control, but who am I kidding. I still look for new ways and try new things each year that may just be easier and make things more manageable with, you know, less stress!
I love having my physical "productive" and "organization" habits and tools, but as the busy season progresses, I tend to neglect the paper planners, folders, etc. I'm always online (even though I don't want to be), and transitioning all my work and important tasks to the virtual world just makes sense. I may not always have my paper planner, but I always have my phone, especially when on the go! Thankfully there is an easy and FREE way to keep my productivity and organization habits anywhere I go and at any time. That's where Amazon Underground comes in handy!
In the Amazon App Store, Android smartphone and Amazon Fire Tablet users can get access to thousands of "underground," 100% free apps and games that you'd normally have to pay for in other apps and Play Stores. You can learn more and get access to download Amazon Underground here! Right from my phone, I now have access to so many apps that will help me stay productive and organized (not to mention photo editing apps, relaxation apps, and games).
Some of my favorites apps are the Notepad+ for jotting down quick reminders and to-do lists. I always end up using this in the middle of the night when my mind starts going crazy with the next day's tasks I need to remember to do! Another fantastic one if the File Commander - File Manager. You can set up different "libraries" and folders for all your important documents, pictures, videos, and transfer them back and forth between your computer and phone. You can easily share files and link up with your cloud storage as well. My third favorite has to be the Mobile Doc Scanner. Let's say you took a ton of notes during class or just wrote out the best blog post on a scrap of paper, but you need to either send it to someone else or get it safely on your computer. You can "scan" any document, note, receipt, little napkin scrap with your best ideas jotted down, right to your phone by taking a picture of it. From there the app can convert it into a PDF to easily export it to any device, right from your phone.
No need to stress out or have all your organization fly out the window! I'm so glad I found out about Amazon Underground going into this new school year! (You know I'm super frugal and don't like to pay for things!) There are so many apps to explore, I find new ones to try out every time I check it out. I know you'll find some you love and may just develop a new and easier way to stay productive, organized, and a lot less stressed this year! Work hard, my friends (but not too hard!)
So tell me:
+ What is your favorite way to stay productive and organized during the "busy season"?
+ Anyone else always end up neglecting their paper planners?

Thank you for sharing about Amazon Underground. I have not heard about it before now, but it sounds like it could be really useful. I prefer paper and pen for myself, but I think knowing about this could be great for my techy husband, and as I seek learning games for my children! 🙂

Ah yes, we all thrive with different mediums!

I have never heard of it! Good recommendation. I have to have lists-- and as virtual as so much of my work is, I need actual physical lists! I hate switching between windows on my computer while I am working and would rather have it next to me on my desk! But, I do use Evernote to keep track of lists I will need when i am out.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Certain lists I have physical, certain I have virtual, and some are duplicate!
