Immune-boosting, creamy, and delicious! These gluten-free vegan smoothie bowls were made to share with your best friend, no matter how "opposite" they may be! Share the love, share the wellness, share the health!

They say opposites attract. From sweet and savory, naughty and nice, even between food-loving friends. But that's a good thing. Differences allow us to grow, learn, and see things from another perspective. Opposites "fill the gaps", so to speak. My dear friend, Natalie of Feasting On Fruit, who I call my "Fruity Friend", is my opposite. First of all, she is smoothie OBSESSED! This girl could live (or does...) off of smoothies! If this girl doesn't have at least 2 smoothies a day, I think sheย would spontaneously combust! Me? I could do without!

Maybe it's because bananas aren't my thing, so I never have them on hand for freezing and turning into smoothies. Bananas are so iconic to smoothies, right? Well, that's the second thing. Natalie loves bananas too. She loves all fruit and that's why she's a high-carb vegan! Don't get me wrong, I love fruit too. But where she is a banana and date kinda girl, I'm more of an apple and Asian pear girl. She doesn't like to eat mango and kiwi skin. However, I think that's the best part! When it comes down to it, if we were on a deserted island and we only had bananas and Brussels sprouts to eat. I would take the sprouts, she would take the nanners.

That brings me to the greatest "opposite attraction", yet. Fruit and veggies! You'd think they don't like to mingle, but I've shown you numerous times that they can and are one of the best food marriages. Lucky for us, this combo is becoming more mainstream and accepted.ย Doleยฎ Fruit & Veggie Blends are bringing this sweet and savory couple to life in 3 varieties of frozen smoothie mixes (Fruit & Greens, Mango Carrot, and Orange Medley)! Ready to use fruit and veggie combos that pack great taste without the guess work. Just natural, non-gmo frozen fruit and veggies full of fiber and Vitamin A & C. Found at various retailers, including Stop 'n' Shop.

Since you know it's always my goal to make food fun and always be trying new ingredients and techniques to cook with, stepping out of the common foodie routine is a must. Where Natalie is making me more inclined to rekindle my long-lost smoothie blending and I'm challenging her to develop more savory dishes, this immune-boosting smoothie is dedicated to our foodie friendship. One thing I know for certain is that we both love potatoes. Now if potatoes were the only thing we had on our deserted island, there would be a problem. (Natalie better be ready to fight!). "Hypothetically" ๐Ÿ˜‰ Since theย Doleยฎ Fruit & Veggie Blend, Orange Medley, is a beautifully orange-filled nutrient-packed combo of mangos, mandarin oranges, pineapple, bananas and sweet potatoes, I thought it would please us both rather nicely. She gets her bananas in the deal, while I'm addingย some of my favorite savory immune-boosting additions!

An immune-boosting smoothie will keep us at our best for our foodie endeavors this year. Just like friends boost each other up, no matter their differences, this smoothie will boost you up as well! The perfect small sweet snack of immune-boosting power to share with a friend (and maybe have a good old debate on some of your differing opinions!)

Are you ready to share the health, vibrancy, and love with your most opposite friend?

So tell me?

+ What's your favorite fruit/veggie combo? How about this sorghum salad? Or these pancakes?

+ Do you have an "opposite" friend that you still mesh well with?

You are the master! I loved reading this post, the smoothie bowl looks incredible and I will be trying these blends, I had no idea they existed! I do use the fruits as they are a great price and a quality product, I need to look a bit further and purchase some of the blends. I love the story, friendship in a bowl, we are all so unique and we don't have to be alike in order to be the best of friends!

I go through smoothie phases. We'll have them for a few weeks, then I'll get bored of them and go onto something else!

However, when I do make them, I find them easier to make at the weekend, and usually prepare the ingredients for blending as soon as we get in the from our early morning gym workout.

This smoothie recipe I love, and it would be ideal for our return from the gym. Mainly because its in a bowl and would be like eating another breakfast before lunch! ๐Ÿ™‚

Awwwwww I don't even know what to say <3 <3 <3 You are the best smoothie bowl making, mango skin eating, surviving on sprouts, not so fruity but getting better by the day friend EVER!!! And you know me so well it's like you can see into my house ๐Ÿ˜ฎ You know all about my multiple smoothies a day habit ๐Ÿ™‚ We are rather opposite in many ways, but I like to think that that means we just compliment each other well ๐Ÿ™‚ And yes I would happily give you all of the wild island brussel sprouts for the bananas any day, but if it was potato island we would come up with some sort of sharing arrangement. Or apple island, we'd have to share then too (and both feel like crap the whole time because of the FODMAPS thing hahaha) The smoothie part of this bowl makes me VERY happy! And so do the toppings, of course chia seeds had to be on there, and look at you pulling out the exotic dried fruit with golden berries!! Bravo! I've wanted to try them for a while. We would have the best smoothie bowl party with these <3 Thank you so so so so so so so much my not-so-fruity-but-amazing-me-with-all-these-smoothies friend! XOXOXO

Perfect tostones require the unripe green plantains (got mine from @theboysfarmersmarket), they're super cheap (like 20-30ยข), peel, slice, soak them in some water, lime juice, and salt, use your @gowiseusa air fryer to give them the first "fry", then get out your frustrations by smashing them into flat discs with a tostonera or a heavy mug, toss them back in the air fryer to finish getting golden and crispy! Serve with an extra pinch of flaky salt and salsa dips of choice! ๐Ÿ‘Œ
