What is Celiac Disease & Food Allergy Coaching?
Getting that diagnosis from your doctor can is a wonderful thing and a scary thing. Wonderful that you now know WHAT is hurting your body, but scary in HOW to go about making such a drastic lifestyle and dietary transition. Through the coaching plans I provide, you'll have your own support superhero, cheerleader, and faithful guide as you overcome the hurdles of celiac and food allergies. You'll have someone cheering you on, answering all your questions, and offering the best ideas, mindset strategies, and solutions to any problem you may face.
Why am I Qualified?
I've been the founder, content creator and celiac/food allergy advocate behind Strength and Sunshine for the past 8 years, providing my best delicious free-from recipes, tips, and tricks. Before that, I was in your place, diagnosed with celiac disease and a soy allergy 12 years ago I know the hurdles you and your family will face and I've learned how to navigate every sticky situation and transition you may come up against! From living in a duel-household (one where "normal food" lucks at every corner) to navigating school and college! I hold a BS in Public Health from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and know the importance that feeling safe, healthy, and happy has on one's overall wellbeing and ability to thrive. I am here to give you the raw facts, truth, and reality; cutting through the myths and societal misconceptions about celiac disease and food allergies that have sprung up over the past decade.

What will I Gain from Coaching?
You'll walk away with a fresh perspective on your free-from life! You'll gain the confidence you need to feel safe and secure around food and navigating the hurdles you'll encounter on a day-to-day basis living with celiac disease and/or food allergies. You'll know how to communicate your needs in social situations, plan ahead, and effectively strategize for seamless interactions in the "no-to free-from" world! You'll learn to trust, be excited about food again, and inspired to not let your restrictions get in the way of living a happy, healthy life!
Plans:
All plans start with a free initial consult call that will allow me to learn about you, your specific needs, goals, and preferences. If we're a great fit to work together, I will then send an email questionnaire for you to fill out and coaching contracts to sign before we begin! All scheduling is done via Calandly so you can choose the best time that works for you and your family.
- Getting Started Plan: This plan is best for someone who has just been diagnosed with celiac disease or their food allergies. I will walk you through the transition every step of the way as you learn to navigate your new lifestyle and dietary changes. It includes:
- 3 Months of coaching
- 1 45-minute Weekly Zoom or Phone call
- Unlimited email and/or Voxer support
- Education and safety practices (reading labels, cross-contamination, eating-out navigation)
- Custom meal plans and recipes
- Grocery Lists
- Cooking and baking tips and tricks, meal prep
- Kitchen Cleanout walkthrough (this is done within the first week)
- Mindset & accountability support and strategy for managing your current situation, goals, preferences, challenges.
- One Month Reboot Plan: This plan is for those who have been managing their celiac disease and/or food allergies for a while but are starting to come up against various hurdles, mindset struggles, and lack of creativity in the kitchen.
- 1 Month of coaching
- 2 45-minute Zoom or Phone call
- Unlimited email and/or Voxer support
- Custom meal plans and recipes
- Grocery Lists
- Cooking and baking tips and tricks
- Mindset & accountability support and strategy for managing your current situation, goals, preferences, challenges.
- One Time Reboot Plan: This plan is for those who would like a one-time strategy session to reset their mindset and get a fresh perspective, meal ideas, and help to push past their individual hurdles surrounding celiac disease and food allergies.
- 1 1-Hour Skype or Phone Call
- 1 week of unlimited follow-up email
- À La Carte Services: Need something else? Maybe you need a meal plan with a month of dinner ideas. A base grocery store list to help you get started restocking your kitchen. A quick 20-30 minute call. Let me know and we can get you set up!
