Do we need an explanation here? Breakfast is one of my favorite events of the day and I know I’m not the only one! Receiving a breakfast-centric gift would totally be acceptable to me! Plus, who doesn’t love those special Christmas and holiday breakfast feasts? Do you do anything special? You may want to give these gifts a day early so you can break them in on Christmas morning! Or you can just prep some rustic gluten-free vegan cinnamon buns and use these breakfast lover gifts later in the day…you know, “The Christmas Breakfast 24-Hour Event”! I’d happily spend my Christmas cooking up breakfast goodies…I did last year 😉

13 Gifts To Stock A New Gluten-Free Kitchen | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 After stripping down the gluten-filled kitchen to its bare bones and sweeping it clean, you'll need to re-stock! Here are 13 Gifts to Stock a New Gluten-Free Kitchen that every celiac and gluten-free foodie will love!

(affiliate info in the right sidebar!)

It’s gift guide time! I love putting these together for my own blog, but I also love looking at other gift guides around the web as well! Always so much spirit and inspiration for just about everyone and everything! I love scanning them and lusting over things I know I’ll never get (or need). My own Christmas List to Santa is rather short this year. Since I got my last essential big ticket kitchen appliance last year (aka the Majestic Beauty), the #1 gift priority, and truthfully the only thing I really need, is a brand new, fully-loaded, and powerful laptop! I don’t know the type I should even be looking at (not a Mac! PC only!), but any suggestions are very welcome 😉

Anyway, I decided my first gift guide would be cooking related and just what a newbie celiac might need! My kitchen is stocked will all these appliances and they are very loved! Of course, these great kitchen gifts can be for any foodie, but these picks are guaranteed to make the new lifestyle of a celiac 1000x better, more fun, and well…delicious! After getting rid of contaminated appliances and needing to learn a new way of cooking, helpful and innovative kitchen appliances can make the transition that much easier!Read More

25 Must-Have Baking Essentials | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 From fledgling home bakers to professional pastry chefs, some baking essentials are a must-have all around. With the right 25 must-have tools and a little practice, everyone will be whisking their way to baking greatness. These 25 make the perfect gifts for holidays too!

I think this is a timely post, don’t you? After my discussion about baking yesterday and the holiday gift buying season underway, chatting about some baking essentials seems like a good idea! I also wanted to semi-continue my cooking tools series that I started in the summer (and totally failed on delivering again) with my top 15 kitchen prep tools. Plus, putting these kind of lists together is kind of fun! Everyone loves browsing gift guides and top product list posts, right? I know I do! So now that I like to include “baker” in my title, I’ve made a list of what I think are the 25 essentials for any level baker to have!Read More

My Top 15 Kitchen Prep Tools

July 21, 2015 by Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine 64 Comments

Cooking, cooking, cooking! If I had an endless supply of ingredients to cook, I would do it 24/7. Like I’ve said, I just love cooking in my kitchen so much. I love creating something beautiful and delicious out of the natural beauty nature has given us to craft something of our own with. Most of the crafting and creating comes during the prep. That’s were things are cut, sliced, blended, zested, mixed, and poured. That’s where the fun is. Not the time you’re standing around for something to bake in the oven or standing over the stove making sure you’re pancakes don’t burn. The prep you do is the time to get inspired by your ingredients, get crazy, messy, and have fun. Kitchen prep can be simple with just cutting and mixing, but it can also require some more tools than just a knife. Here are 15 of my top kitchen prep tools and why I find them so!

My Top 15 Kitchen Prep Tools | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666

Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap 10 Cup Food Processor – This is the greatest appliance I have. I think. I am in love with my food processor! I have about 4 or 5 blenders and I have never been happy with any. I’ve tried them all and they just don’t do the job. When I finally got an actual food processor, my life changed forever! Talk about blending, chopping, power! You can even grate things with this! Nut butter has never been easier to make, veggie burgers are a cinch, and hummus comes out so creamy! I don’t make smoothies, so a blender is a waste for me. You can do everything and more with a good food processor and I really recommend this one!Read More

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide + {A Spectacular Giveaway}

November 25, 2014 by Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine 139 Comments

Enough with the boring typical gift guides. I know everyone wants a Vitamix…but let’s face it, they’re just so damn expensive. Plus, I bet you aren’t willing to spend that kind of dough on just anyone. So instead of crazy expensive (but of course great) appliances, wine, a mini food processor, you know, the typical fare, I’ve put together some more “fun” things! Plus if you read all the way through, there is am amazing giveaway you do not want to miss! It would be the perfect gift for a loved foodie…or yourself 😉

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Some of these things I don’t have, but they seem awesome so I thought I’d include them all! A lot of these I do have so I know they will make any foodie very happy! Everything is reasonably priced too which is what we all want. The big ticket “foodie” item I have on my list this year is a dehydrator. I got a blender and spiralizer last year, so now all that’s left is a dehydrator 😉

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Windy City Organics Dastony Coconut Butter, I’m Trying To Be Awesome Ceramic Coffee Mug, Norpro Nonstick Bear Pancake Rings, SweetLeaf Stevia, Tasty Tortilla Bowl Maker, OATrageous Oatmeals Cookbook, Wilton 12 Cavity Round Ice Cream Sandwich Pan, The Chia Cookbook, Soom Tahini
.

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Chocolate Mint Tea, Rectangular Silicone Reusable Baking Cups, WEDO Banana Flour, Wilton Donut Pan, Paderno World Cuisine Spiralizer, Proctor Silex Sandwich Toaster, Homemade Granola, My Oatmeal, New Grounds Food CoffeeBar

Now aren’t all those things fun 😉 You know I’m all about making homemade gifts, but I don’t know if I am going to have the time this year 🙁 However, no one in my family is a foodie…they could all really care less, haha! My mom is all about movies, music, books, that kind of stuff. My brother is all sports. My dad…I really haven’t a clue! What I’m thinking is, I should just wrap myself up in a box and jump out on Christmas morning saying, “My Christmas gift to you is…ME!” I know they all miss me so much anyway 😉 Plus I’m free of charge!

Okay, enough holiday weirdness. I guess It’s time to talk giveaways! You all know I have recently (over the past few months) become obsessed with oatmeal. Not just any oatmeal, but MyOatmeal. My Instagram is full of pictures of my lovely oatmeal breakfasts 😉 I can’t get enough of the stuff. The latest custom blend that I made and am obsessed with the most is my Maple Flax Banana Bread! I’d totally be okay if this was the last thing I ever ate.

MyOatmeal Giveaway | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 #myoatmeal #giveaway

I am so happy that my tummy is better at handling oats now! I still can’t eat this 24/7, but oatmeal in the morning a few times a week is perfect and keeps me excited! Anyway, you yourself could win $25 to make you own custom blend(s) at MyOatmeal. Or you could be super nice and create a special blend to give as a gift this holiday season! If I was your foodie friend, and you gave me this…I would love you forever and ever!

The Giveaway: TWO (yes two) lucky readers will win $25 (each) to spend however they’d like at MyOatmeal.com! The giveaway will be open until Monday (12/01) at midnight. I will contact the winners directly and post their names in the rafflecopter box below.

But wait, that’s not all! Since you all can’t win…sorry, that’s life, haha, I’ve also got a special discount anyone can use to order MyOatmeal! Just use the code: Pytell15 and get 15% off your entire order! Crazy good! Hello Black Friday, Cyber Monday shopping!
