Believe me when I say origami is not my forte. However, there is one origami creation I have down pat. While I was searching in my huge closet-of-no-return the other day, I came across my stack of rainbow origami cups. I made these cups back in 4th grade and have kept them ever since. We made them during an activity day where a few parents came in and taught us different crafts and games. I remember my friend’s mom was the one doing origami so we stayed over there the whole time.
My friend’s mom taught us the most essential origami you could know. One so important in her eyes that she had to teach us 4th graders and tell us this would save our lives when we least expected it. The origami cup she said had saved her numerous times. She told us a story about being in a public restroom and needed to swallow a pill. So she took a doubled up paper towel, folded it into a square, and then proceeded to create the origami cup. Thus she was able to fill it with water and swallow her pill. Life saving moment!Read More
