Have no fear! A gluten-free vegan Thanksgiving can still be delicious and may just have you wishing you had these dishes on the table years ago! No one will miss out when the options are endless, mouthwatering, and so satisfying!
Truth be told, I don't have my "menu" planned out yet. I know I'll be making my 2 absolute essentials of stuffing and pumpkin pie, but besides that, I'll most likely be winging it the day before! For holidays, I always like to make something I know is a tried-and-true love, but also something new and exciting! When I go to a family gathering for the holidays, like Thanksgiving, I usually make a side dish, main dish, and dessert that I know is safe for me to eat. Anything else at the dinner that's safe just fills in the gaps! However, I know you, my lovely readers, having dietary restrictions from Celiac to veganisim would like some ideas to help you plan your menu and not end up with only a bowl of plain salad at the table. All these recipes are of course: gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free (expect for the brownies which has peanut), and vegan. So prepare to feast your eyes and minds on the possibilities there actually are to make this the BEST and ULTIMATE Thanksgiving yet!

I hope your mouth is watering and your menu is now packed! The more food the better! Although, in my family, we never seem to make enough to have THAT many leftovers. People talk about having so many leftovers, but we never have this extreme overabundance. We either know how to pack it in or we just make the right quantities! I'm going to say the latter!
So tell me:
+ What's on the Thanksgiving menu this year? Anything new?
+ What's you favorite classic must-have Thanksgiving dish? My stuffing! But when I was a little wee-one who could and would eat everything, my grandfathers mashed potatoes were all I cared about. Heaven!

Usually we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Austria but my boyfriend and I always do, because we love making feasts and thanksgiving is the perfect reason for that! We don't necessarily make our thanksgiving feast on thanksgiving day, but somewhere around it (2 -1 days ahead or after). We don't have anything planned out yet, so I LOVE your list of ideas! Everything looks so good and the purple brussels sprouts!! YUMM! I love brussels sprouts lately but haven't found purple ones yet. Thanks for the awesome collection! 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Hahaha, that's so wrong (holiday stealer!!! hahahahaha!) 😛
Aren't they so cute!!! I wish I could find them again too 😛
Bianca @ ElephantasticVegan
I just do it for the food! HAHAHA. Same with watching the superbowl. 😀
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Maybe you should just move to the states 😉
Bianca @ ElephantasticVegan
But then I wouldn't eat junk food at 4am in the morning for the superbowl. 😀
Moving to the US sounds really good too 🙂

I have saved this for my Christmas dinner celebrations!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
That works as well 😉
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
Stuffing and pumpkin pie are my top 2 as well! I don't have my menu planned yet either, not even sure if we're staying here or going to my parents so maybe I need to get on my plans. The butternut squash bread is calling me!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I'm not sure what I'll be doing either!
You would go crazy for the bread!!
Natalie | Feasting on Fruit
Wait you mean just stuffing and pumpkin pie doesn't count as a meal!?! 😮
You got everyone covered here girl, although I must say I'm especially eyeing the dessert section! Mashed potatoes are a must for me, when I was little I always strategically "helped" set the table so those were right in front of me 🙂 Thanksgiving at my house is a little crazy because my dad still eats meat and my sister and I don't and my mom feels guilty not cooking my dad something quasi traditional so it just gets weird :/ Oh well, I'll make myself a pie and go to town probably 😀
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
You know what I also loved with big piles of mash? Greens beans and corn all in the same forkfull. So good! It's funny because I eat chicken, but not turkey...so I usually just stay vegan totally that day 😛
Natalie | Feasting on Fruit
Mashed potato + pinto beans + corn all in one bite. Sounds weird, but so good!
Amy @ Happy Healthy RD
Ah! Such a great roundup - I'll definitely be referring back when I have to decide what to bring to Thanksgiving this year!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Thanks Amy! Any choice won't disappoint!
Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday
I'm not huge on Thanksgiving food for some reason, so I'm actually kind of happy that my parents and I are just going out to a nice dinner at a restaurant with my grandparents and great uncle this year. Still, I'll probably do some baking over Thanksgiving! I'd love to try out your pumpkin pie!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
My dad and I went to a restaurant in DC last year! Kinda sad, but it was okay 😉
Steph @ The Grateful Grazer
I neeeeed to try those stuffed mushrooms! Everything looks delicious! 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
They are the best!
Emily @ My Healthyish Life
I'm excited to be having Thanksgiving at home this year so I can help cook! Normally we are traveling out of state. My favorite "classic" is turkey because I don't like Thanksgiving food. I sub out mashed potatoes for roasted...then I'm good.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Haha my Thanksgiving meal always ends up being ptretty untraditional 😉
Farrah
So many of these sound delicious, but I think I'm most craving the soups right now! <3
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Still not really craving the soups too much 😛
lindsay
i think i might just skip my thanksgiving and com to your house. Cause wow! Looks sooooo good. I need that hummus, stat!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I'm sure you have a killer menu up your sleeve!
rachel @ Athletic Avocado
such an awesome menu! I would love some of that crustless pumpkin pie for dessert!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Best part is you can eat the entire pie yourself!
Harriet Emily
This is such a great menu Rebecca! So many delicious vegan and gluten free recipes!!! I'm in food heaven right now. Love the sound of the stuffing - it's my favourite dish too!! <3
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
The stuffing...oooo it's all I think about!
