The Ultimate Gluten-Free + Vegan Thanksgiving Menu

Have no fear! A gluten-free vegan Thanksgiving can still be delicious and may just have you wishing you had these dishes on the table years ago! No one will miss out when the options are endless, mouthwatering, and so satisfying!

The Ultimate Gluten-Free + Vegan Thanksgiving Menu | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 Have no fear! A gluten-free vegan Thanksgiving can still be delicious and may just have you wishing you had these dishes on the table years ago! No one will miss out when the options are endless, mouthwatering, and so satisfying!

Truth be told, I don't have my "menu" planned out yet. I know I'll be making my 2 absolute essentials of stuffing and pumpkin pie, but besides that, I'll most likely be winging it the day before! For holidays, I always like to make something I know is a tried-and-true love, but also something new and exciting! When I go to a family gathering for the holidays, like Thanksgiving, I usually make a side dish, main dish, and dessert that I know is safe for me to eat. Anything else at the dinner that's safe just fills in the gaps! However, I know you, my lovely readers, having dietary restrictions from Celiac to veganisim would like some ideas to help you plan your menu and not end up with only a bowl of plain salad at the table. All these recipes are of course: gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free (expect for the brownies which has peanut), and vegan. So prepare to feast your eyes and minds on the possibilities there actually are to make this the BEST and ULTIMATE Thanksgiving yet!

Appetizers:

+ 10-Minute Black Garlic Sweet Pea Pesto Appetizers

+ Pumpkin Spice Roasted Chickpeas

+ Savory Pumpkin Hummus

+ Slow Cooker Applesauce

Savory Pumpkin Hummus | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 From dipping to scooping, spreading to mixing in, hummus is one versatile food. This gluten-free and vegan savory pumpkin hummus is the perfect flavor for all you fall snacking, cooking, and tailgating!

Breads:

+ Grain-Free Butternut Squash Bread

+ Buckwheat English Muffin Buns

+ Fluffy Rosemary Yeast Buns

Grain-Free Butternut Squash Bread | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 #grainfree #glutenfree #vegan #eggfree #dairyfree #bread #butternutsquash

Soup + Salad:

+ Smoky Butternut Squash & Carrot Soup

+ Raw Balsamic Tahini Beet Noodles

+ Red Winter Kale Salad

Smokey Butternut Squash and Carrot Soup | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 A perfect smoky gluten-free, paleo, vegan soup made in the blender!

Side Dishes:

+ Warm Sorghum Salad with Roasted Kohlrabi, Apple, & Fennel

+ Roasted Broccolini with Lemon & Garlic Herb Sauce

+ The Best Gluten-Free Vegan Stuffing (ever!)

+ Spicy Spiralized Sweet Potato Fries

+ Purple Baby Brussels Sprouts

+ Tahini Celeriac Potato Salad

Tahini Celeriac Potato Salad | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 Take that boring potato salad up a notch! With roasted tri-color potatoes and celeriac root and a creamy tahini sauce, there's nothing not to love! Gluten-free, vegan, and paleo without the heaviness of the classic recipe, there's a new healthy favorite on the table!

Main Dishes:

+ Vegan Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms

+ Cheezy Roasted Vegetable Quinoa

+ Savory Pumpkin Lentil Tacos

Vegan Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 Gluten-free, vegan entree stuffed with lentils, veggies, and hummus!

Dessert:

+ Crustless Pumpkin Pie (my favorite thing in the world!)

+ Pumpkin Peanut Butter Layer Brownies

+ Soft Spiced Cocoa Pumpkin Cookies

+ Pumpkin Spice Latte Cookies

+ Apple Pie Quick Bread

Pumpkin Peanut Butter Layer Brownies | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 Where pumpkin, peanut, and chocolate combine! Pumpkin Peanut Butter Layer Brownies will make you rethink your definition of brownie. These gluten-free and vegan brownies are the healthiest of holiday indulgences, you won't have to stop at one! They can be dessert or breakfast!

I hope your mouth is watering and your menu is now packed! The more food the better! Although, in my family, we never seem to make enough to have THAT many leftovers. People talk about having so many leftovers, but we never have this extreme overabundance. We either know how to pack it in or we just make the right quantities! I'm going to say the latter!

So tell me:

+ What's on the Thanksgiving menu this year? Anything new?

+ What's you favorite classic must-have Thanksgiving dish? My stuffing! But when I was a little wee-one who could and would eat everything, my grandfathers mashed potatoes were all I cared about. Heaven!

Usually we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Austria but my boyfriend and I always do, because we love making feasts and thanksgiving is the perfect reason for that! We don't necessarily make our thanksgiving feast on thanksgiving day, but somewhere around it (2 -1 days ahead or after). We don't have anything planned out yet, so I LOVE your list of ideas! Everything looks so good and the purple brussels sprouts!! YUMM! I love brussels sprouts lately but haven't found purple ones yet. Thanks for the awesome collection! 🙂

You got everyone covered here girl, although I must say I'm especially eyeing the dessert section! Mashed potatoes are a must for me, when I was little I always strategically "helped" set the table so those were right in front of me 🙂 Thanksgiving at my house is a little crazy because my dad still eats meat and my sister and I don't and my mom feels guilty not cooking my dad something quasi traditional so it just gets weird :/ Oh well, I'll make myself a pie and go to town probably 😀
