Get those costumes ready! It's Halloween weekend! Having actual Halloween day during the week...on a Wednesday is no fun. School-night Halloweens were the worst growing up, but not much control over that one! I always loved staying up late, eating a bunch of candy after a (cold) but fun night's work of trick-or-treating. We'd come home, dump out our FILLED pillowcases of candy, sort, and start the exchange and trade process. We NEVER finished our pounds and pounds of candy, but always had a piece (or 3) a day for awhile until we forgot about it, haha! My mom would also always put a piece in our lunchboxes which always made lunch that much better!
The good old days! I'll probably just put on a few scary movies or have the Halloween movie marathon on...too old for treats?
