Friday Finisher 11/22/13

Published: Nov 22, 2013 · Modified: Jan 9, 2020 by Rebecca Pytell · This post may contain affiliate links.

Guess what?! Yesterday was my 100th post on SS! I didn't even realize it till late last night when I was editing this post, crazy! I am so thankful for this blog and all of you who come and read it! I still can't believe I successfully started this blog. I had no idea what I was doing when I decided to create one in June and now I am learning more and more everyday. I am so glad I stuck with it and can not wait to see where it takes me a few months, even a few weeks from now. Everyday there is a new surprise, connection, opportunity to be had and made. It is truly amazing 🙂 <3

I also can't believe T-day is in 6 days! There is no stopping the holidays now. Next week on the blog will be packed with all things thanksgiving, just a heads up! But I can't wait to share my two essential and favorite T-Days dishes! I will be cooking them up this weekend and then freezing them for Thursday (hopefully that all works out)! I also still need to think of another dish to make and I am thinking of just doing my stuffed vegan mushrooms, but with smaller mushrooms so it will be easier to make a huge batch so the whole family can try.

Now, I have tons of links this week...as always...haha! But I just love sharing everything I found interesting each week. I hope you guys like these posts and find new bloggers to follow and posts to like! Here you go!

Friday FinisherSS Posts from the week:

Monday: Power Monday #20 Bodyweight Arm Workout

Tuesday: My Recent Vitacost Haul and Buckwheat Pumpkin Cornbread

Vegetarian Pumpkin Curry. Chickpeas and pumpkin = yes please!

A few things I loved about my week or am grateful for:

+ 165 days (rough days but still trying) of being (eyebrow and eyelash) trich free! I have really been struggling with this over the last few weeks. I guess it is just stress and anxiety, but I am trying to keep my life as stress-free as possible, but I feel like there are so many obligations I have and I am neglecting the important ones like school. I am just touching my face was to much (so many breaks is the consequence) and I am rubbing and touching my eyebrows and lashes to no end. Not good...especially when ones of two fall out. But I WILL NOT let all this progress disappear, I WILL NOT!

+ Only 2 ½ days of school next week, yay! Then it is time to really truly relax and enjoy time with my family.

+ I am really excited to announce that I will be officially a Plant Fusion ambassador and social media administrator! I can not wait to work with such a great company whom I have close ties with already. I will be reaching out to bloggers about reviews, giveaways, and I will be helping to manage their social media! I know, another thing I just heaped onto my plate, but I just can't turn this down! I will update you more as things get going!

+ Really good workouts this week! I am feeling strong and powerful and confident. I think it also has to do with the amazing eats I have been fueling with 😉

So tell me:

Will you be doing any T-Day prep this weekend?

Do you host T-day at your house or go somewhere else? I will be going to my grandparents which we usually do every year.

Any unique tips on staying stress and anxiety free...or at least as much as possible?

I always love your link up posts! So many good ones, I'm off to read them...but first, I must say I too am happy about this short week! Internally I'm calling it a 2.5 day work week even though it's technically 3 days because I don't know how long I plan to stay at work on Wed 😛

Thanks so much for featuring me in your round up! So many great links you have there, perfect for a little Sunday morning browsing 🙂 Im studying holistic health and wellness at the moment, and actually just studying stress and anxiety management... some good tips - try to write daily/weekly plans to help manage time better; allow for at least 10 (preferably 30!) minutes each day to sit in a quiet place by yourself where you can switch off from everything and just relax and have "you" time; lay flat on your back with your legs up against the wall a take a few deep breathes (http://goo.gl/BsyTfo). Hope these help! And congrats on your 100 posts and Plant Fusion collaboration 🙂 x

Thank you so much Dearna! I think I will try lying on my back with my feet up! I have heard that before, but never really tried! Thanks for the tips, have a wonderful and lovely weekend! XOXO 🙂

I love all your pins- I need to find you on Pinterest! All the controversy with Lulu makes me sad because I love their clothes so much.. 🙁 Getting something there is always how I reward myself when I accomplish something big, or it's my birthday, but I don't know now.. Have a great weekend, girly!

My link for Pinterest is right at the start of all the pins XP I have a $40 gift card to spend there! But their clothes seem to be a little to big so I think I'll get some of their headbands! Headbands aren't controversial!
