Looking for the best and easiest way to make vegan parmesan cheese? Here's how to make the quickest and healthiest, 2-ingredient vegan parmesan that's from real whole foods, gluten-free, allergy-free, even paleo! Perfect to have on hand for topping, sprinkling, and making anything "cheesy"!

In search of the best, easiest, healthiest vegan parmesan?

Look no further! Nothing artificial, 100% vegan, gluten-free, allergy-free, and paleo! The perfect texture and taste all wrapped into one super simple "recipe" that only requires TWO ingredients! You've seen me use this "recipe" in a few of the recipes over here on Strength and Sunshine and I felt the need to formalize it with a full post. If you're reading in real time, you'll be needing this parmesan for many cheesy things in the future! I feel silly calling it a recipe, that's why it's more of a how-to and probably the easiest how-to you'll ever read!

So how do you make the easiest 2-ingredient vegan parmesan?

The only 2 ingredients you need to make this parmesan are:

1. Nutritional Yeast

2. Hemp Hearts (Shelled Hemp Seeds)

The best part is that these ingredients go one-to-one in the recipe. To make a decent batch to keep on hand in the fridge of pantry, just use 1 cup of nutritional yeast and one cup of hemp hearts. But to actually make the texture "parmesan-style", you just need to blitz these two ingredients in a small food processor or blender! From there I like to store my vegan parm in small Ball canning jars in the fridge (or pantry if I know I'll be using it quickly)!

Real, whole, natural ingredients. The perfect cheesy nutty flavor (without the nuts or soy that you typically see in vegan cheese!) Gluten-free, allergy-free, paleo, PACKED with protein, by the way, and delicious! With 53.3g of protein from the hemp hearts and 32g of protein from the nooch, this 2 cup recipe comes in at a whopping 85.3g of protein! Plant protein power! Who knew cheese could be so healthy? I guess we just made 2 superfoods even more super!

So tell me:

+ What will you be using your vegan parmesan on first?

I've seen people making "vegan parmesan" for a while now and I have to say I'm intrigued. I'm a huge cheese addict and parmesan is my favourite, so I would give this a try to compare it to the real one.

Normally I just pour nooch on everything, but when cooking certain recipes, you need the hearty texture and feel of the hemp to actually mimic parm!
Plus all vegan parms I see include nuts which are a NO!

Gotta love 2 ingredient recipes, so easy and quick! Nutritional yeast is a regular ingredient in our staple, healthy and taste just like cheese 🙂

It's so interesting how certain foods can be substituted with vegan options. I'll have to keep this handy in case I ever need to cook for a vegan person. Thanks for the info.
