Power Monday #62 Trick Or Treat Upper Body Workout

Published: Oct 6, 2014 · Modified: Jul 23, 2017 by Rebecca Pytell · This post may contain affiliate links.

Happy Power Monday! I hope you had a good first weekend of October. Me? Well not so much. Just a lot of struggling to get work done. I have my world history mid-term tomorrow, a huge economics packet due Wednesday, and a 7-10 page paper (first draft) due in my UW on Friday. It's getting there, but I am having such a hard time finding the motivation. I would rather not do any of it, so forcing myself is the only way, even if that takes an ungodly amount of time. At least I can break that time up by doing fun things like this workout 😉

Power Monday

I had fun with the Halloween themes on PicMonkey to make this upper body and arms workout festive. It's a good one. Use some heavy weights and scare your muscles into having a good time 😉 No tricks here, only a fun treat for your arms 😉 I hope your sore afterwards!

Trick Or Treat | Strength and Sunshine #workout #upperbody #fitness

I love doing tricep pull-downs on the cable machine! It makes the triceps sore and worked, just how I like it 😉 I'm keeping it short today as you can see I've got a busy week. But I'll be back tomorrow like usual, don't worry! Until then, start by making the week a powerful one and have a great Monday! XOXO

So tell me:

+ How was your weekend?

+ What are you dressing up as for Halloween? Me...probably nothing, haha! I'll leave that to the kiddies.

Great sounding work out!!! Ugh... plank-ups. Whenever I groan about an exercise it makes me realise I need to do it more ;p

This is a great workout suggestion...I love it. Do you often do 20 reps in each set for upper body?? I've always heard 8-12 is best, so I'm super curious as to your reasoning behind 20! Props to you for doing 20 in 3 separate sets...that's awesome.

No rep scheme is better than another, it depends on weights, strength and endurance. I break up the 20 into 10 and 10 and superset them with one or two other exercises in the list!
