Friday Finisher 10/23/15

Published: Oct 23, 2015 · Modified: Dec 26, 2019 by Rebecca Pytell · This post may contain affiliate links.

Do you ever have those days where one moment you look at the clock and it's 10am, then next, it's 4pm? The day just flies by. That totally happened this week on Wednesday. I was studying for a terrible math test, which I'd hoped to take on Thursday, but that was a waste. I won't be taking the test till Saturday?! When I study, I want to study, take the test, and be done, I don't like dragging these things out, creating room for forgetting things. The earlier the test, the better for me! I always got made when teachers would push things back. While everyone was cheering, I was sitting there totally steamed. Oh, education!

And the apple picking I said I might do last weekend? Well, what's you definition of apple picking? 😉 It happened to be super cold and windy (not prime apple picking conditions) so I ended up finding a cute local farm stand and "picking" apples from the tables instead 😛 (First farmer's market/stand stop all year!). At least the apples were organic, big, beautiful, and perfect! The whole "experience" just wasn't in the cards this year. So no "hand-picked" homemade applesauce 😛 I digress!

I think I complied a pretty good round-up this week! Lots of links to check out! So you better get started! Grab some coffee, tea (I've been drinking tea non-stop!), maybe some brownies, and settle in for the Finisher! Happy weekend foodie friends!

I hope your test went well today!! I was the same way in college, study, learn it, regurgitate it, move on! I can't believe you have a test on a Saturday!! Dave and I went apple picking this week, - it ended up being unexpectedly hot, so that was a surprise, and I wasn't dressed accordingly! But it was a fun experience, I've never been before! Sounds like you still got to load up on apples! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Literally, what are we doing if we’re not combining the two coziest quick breads into one? Naturally moist and sweet from real pumpkin and ripe bananas, which makes it perfect for a gluten-free recipe that needs extra moisture and an eggless recipe since pumpkin and banana are OG vegan egg replacements! This gluten-free pumpkin banana bread is a blank slate for any cozy add-ins you can dream of, but its simplicity is what makes it shine on its own! 😋🙌
