Happy Friday! Yay for the weekend. This week in school wasn’t so bad, not too much homework, only 4 tests and quizzes, I’ll take it! So I thought this weekend would be low key like last weekend, but I was wrong. On Sunday I have my alumni interview for Georgetown! I am nervous, excited, but also happy I am getting it over with now. For Georgetown the interviews are mandatory, unlike most colleges that have an optional interview. But I think it is a great way to get to explain in actual words who you are and what makes you special. Besides that I have other college things and emails to get done this weekend as well as prepare for next weekend. (I will be posting about it later this week, stay tuned!).

This weekend I’m hopefully finishing all of our uncompleted wedding projects as we won’t have time from now on – and prepping for an interstate day trip on Monday

I like these posts that share what people have been reading … as for the family meal, we are the same way. Never home at the same time, and add to that a family of finiky eaters! There are very few meals everyone likes. I’m the worst offender when it comes to picky eating though, so I have a hard time enforcing anything with the kids. It’s hard. We do a big Sunday breakfast each week, but it’s pretty piecemeal the rest of the time.

At least you get that one meal together! That is a great tradition to keep. I think as long as families have other ways to connect and talk with one another daily, a meal together isn’t always necessary.
