I don't know about you but, I like to be comfortable when I'm working out. Especially when practicing yoga. At least in the sense of what I'm wearing. I don't like to be comfortable with my actual practice though. I like to push, dig deep, and find new places. But in order to do that to the best of my ability, I have to start by wearing something that will allow me to feel comfy. I usually go pretty minimal in the clothing department when I get on the mat. Just a sports bra and shorts will suffice. Just minimal coverage and support is all I need, at least when I am practicing alone. If I were to go to a studio, shorts might now be the best thing 😉 You know, downward dog and all.
That's where Tasc comes in! I was literally full-face smiling when I found out Tasc wanted me to try out some of their fitness and athletic clothes. I mean reviewing clothes? Movin' up to the big leagues now 😉 Tasc allowed me to pick 3 items to try out. I wasn't sure if anything would fit since I'm pretty small and it's hard to find workout clothes that are actually tight enough. However, I chose the Endurance Sports Bra (Black, XS), the NOLA Crop (Black. XS, wish I had gotten the pink :P), and the Audubon Racer (Black, XS).
What makes Tasc different from other athletic and fitness apparel you ask? Well, they use Bamboo Performance Technology! This process combines the best of nature with patent-pending fabric finishing process called BamCo to release the performance characteristics that inherently exist in the fiber. Their bamboo is sourced from the Sichuam Province in China. Don't worry, the forest is certified by the FSC, the OCIA, and the USDA! They also mix their fibers by hand to ensure the perfect blend. Bamboo and their technology create an exceptionally soft, breathable fabric that feels great on the skin. It is also temperature regulating, has a high warmth to weight ratio, is moisture wicking, quick dry, anti-oder, was 4 way stretch and has UPF 50+ sun protection. Not to mention the easy care it needs. Nothing special at all! Basically all these attributes make their clothing perfect for athletes of all kinds. From yogis, to crossfitters, to hikers, and even endurance runners.
So the verdict? I love it all! The pants were super form fitting and actually fit my waist! They were not to big at all! (Shocker!). The top was nice. It is not a skin-tight top, but is a bit looser so you can breathe. I really lack in the workout top department. I really only use sports bras or old cotton tanks, so this was a plus for me! And then we have the sports bra. Here is a better look. Excuse the mean face 😛 I really was happy!
I love sports bras and I can now add this one to my collection! I am a total Old Navy sports bra girl. I finally found ones that are tight enough for this small chested girl. So I wasn't sure if I would like this new brand. But hey, I do! Total coverage, breathable, and perfect for yogaing! O man, I just looked on the site again, and they have a bamboo thong! I think Tasc is my new favorite brand, they know me well!
How does Tasc hold up to an intense yoga practice or sweat-sesh? Pretty good I must say. Just take a look for yourself! Everything stays in place even when twisting and contorting your body in the bendiest yoga poses! I have a feeling I will be wearing this outfit to my first studio yoga class when I get down to DC in the Fall 😉
So would I buy Tasc with my own money? Heck yes I would! Everything is moderately priced as well. Not like an $80 pair of leggings from so other athletic brands 😉 Anyway, I am really happy with these clothes. Finding good fitting quality clothing can be hard for me. But Tasc fits all my needs! The only thing was the clothes had a really strong smell. But once you give them a wash it's fine! They are also so very friendly and replied back to my emails super quick when I needed some guidance on my picks. A good company all around. They are even so kind as to offer all you lovely readers a 25% discount off regularly priced items. Just use the code: SANDS at checkout! Not only is Tasc an online realtor, but their clothing can also be found in stores across the US, Canada, and Australia!
You can follow along and get social with Tasc through these channels as well!
So tell me:
+ Do you like tight-fitting or looser clothing when working out?
+ Are you a sports bra minimalist like me?
+ Random: Would you ever try Naked Yoga? Simple answer...YES!
***I was provided these clothes for free in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and come from the heart! Thank you Tasc for giving me the opportunity!***

I kind of like loose comfortable clothes for working out in that breathe. I do a lot of cardio, weights and yoga - a variety each week. I am very impressed with your yoga poses - I can not do some of those and have been doing yoga for years.
Strength and Sunshine
For me, minimal clothing is best! Loose clothing just feels like it gets in the way! But for lifting, it doesn't matter so much and I'll wear whatever!
Thank you, haha!
Green Earth Bazaar
When I practice I HAVE to feel comfortable, or I'm totally distracted. I prefer very light comfy natural fibers. I usually will wear a sporty tank bra and boy shorts when I'm practicing at home.
Found your blog today via SITS, so glad I did. 😉
Peace.
Strength and Sunshine
That's exactly how I like to feel! I have been wearing these crops though for my last few practices and I seriously am in love! They actually beat shorts any day 😉

LOL! That's okay. I'm not sure I'd wear it either. It just looks cute 😀
Emily @ Zen & Spice
I like tighter fitting pants, but my sports bras and tops need to be loose. I can’t stand tight tops! I actually wear sports bras that are 2-3 sizes bigger than what I need just so it won’t be so constricting around my rib cage, lol.
Strength and Sunshine
Haha I think that defeats the purpose of q sports bra 😛

I can't exercise unless i'm in comfy clothes! These yoga clothes sound great, I'm really curious about the bamboo technology. Might look into them 🙂
Strength and Sunshine
Go check them out! They have tons of clothes (not just for yoga!) I feel like a BA wearing bamboo 😉

Comfort is key! I prefer fitted workout clothes especially for yoga. Your yoga poses are amazing!
Strength and Sunshine
Thank you Jill! Fitted is the way to go for yoga!
Dannii @ Hungry Healthy Happy
I am always looking for new workout clothes brands to try, so thanks for the recommendation.
I prefer tighter fitting clothes when I workout, just so they are not moving around all the time.
Strength and Sunshine
Same! Loose things are okay for certain activities, but for yoga, I need the most minimal clothes or super tight clothes so nothing gets in the way of my crazy movements!
