I hear it all the time, “There’s no time for breakfast!” or “I don’t eat breakfast”. INSANITY! One of the most important things for productivity and focus is to eat (or drink) some breakfast. It doesn’t have to be the exact moment you wake-up. I typically eat breakfast about 4 hours after I’ve risen for the day and gotten my workout and some work done.
Breakfast is “breaking the fast” from when you last ate (dinner or a small snack before bed) and the meal that will get you through the rest of your work day. It should be healthy, sustaining, nourishing. Something that doesn’t leave your stomach growling 20 minutes later. Not all of you are as fortune with time as myself, where I can take the time to have a leisurely breakfast and morning routine. Vegan Coconut Coffee Breakfast Shake
- 1 Cup Black Coffee (completely cooled)
- 1 Cup Ice Cubes
- ½ Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk
- ½ Cup Plain Coconut Yogurt
- ½ Cup White Beans (drained, rinsed)
- 2 TB Raw Cashews (soaked)
- Sweetener of Choice (to taste)
- Measure ingredients using the NutriBullet Balance.

- Blend until smooth.
