5 Fun Things To Livin' Up Your Spring

Published: Apr 14, 2015 · Modified: Jul 23, 2017 by Rebecca Pytell · This post may contain affiliate links.

Finally we welcome a new season, a renewal from the dreary, cold, never-ending Winter. We've all slogged through, not thinking we could make it, but alas, we have! I think that means we all deserve to treat ourselves. Hopefully you have continued making progress on your goals and intentions this year too! I know I have and I think because of that and the new season, AND the ending of a first year of college, I may just need to treat myself to some materialistic goods. I never do (ever), I just hate spending money, even when I like something, even if I have a gift card!

5 Fun Things To Livin' Up Your Spring | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 #spring

So maybe if I share some fun Spring finds (and you share some of yours in the comments), I may be inspired to actually make the commitment, that hard decision, and finally buy something 😉 Maybe... So here are some 5 fun things to livin' up your Spring!

Yumi Kim Liz Romper

Yumi Kim Liz Romper

I am so obsessed with rompers and jumpsuits! After the two I bought in November, I have been lusting over so many more! I still don't own a romper, but totally want to take the plunge with one!

Cut-Out Coral Maxi

Cut-Out Back Cami Maxi

There is nothing not to love with a Spring maxi! I love the solid cherry color of this one. So simple, sexy, and chic!

Coach Sunglasses

Coach Oversized Sunglasses

I adore sunglasses and my beloved aviators have a crack in them. Plus they are super old. I think I may be in need of a new pair 😉

Cord Bracelet Multi Strand Spring Bracelet Multi Thread by Piole

Multi Strand Spring Braclet

Isn't this pretty? I love all the colors! A nice little pop to livin' up a more subtle outfit! I like a little bit of gold too. I actually think I like gold things more than silver.

DROID Turbo Sapphire Blue by Motorola

I don't know about you, but I'm in need of a new phone. I've had my DROID Razr Maxx HD for a few years now and it's dying..if not dead already. Motorola has a new DRIOD on the market with a 48-hour battery life (which is my #1 want in any phone! I am always looking for the best and longest battery life, which this one has!) This new DROID Turbo has amazing speed, performance, sharp display, a beautiful sleek design and color like no other on the market. It's also super durable, scratch, and water resistant, all while being smooth to the touch and light weight. I love a big-screened phone and I am a DROID girl (I've never had anything different!), so I may just have my eye on this one 😉 It also has all new Moto Voice, Assist, and Display which you can personalize to your needs. I only use my phone for blogging, social media, and the internet, so personalization and function is what I need! (I hate texting...and do not text!)

So tell me:

+ What's on your radar for this Spring?

+ Rompers, jumpsuits, maxis? Yes to all three! My favorite clothes...besides workout clothes and sweats 😉

Fun finds! Especially love the sunglasses and the bracelet =)
I need some new running gear for the spring - I don't like shopping or spending money (ha!), but sometimes a girl needs to treat herself. I will definitely be treating myself to a spring manicure soon! My fav spring splurge.

The thing about living in Central Florida is that you never really have Spring. But I do remember the feelings of Spring. Thanks for the inspiration. Thanks, too, for linking up and sharing with us at Funtastic Friday. Hope you can make it again this week.

You should totally get a romper and treat yourself with at least one spring item. I just invested in a new pair of sunglasses after my last one got totally warped when I left in the car with 100+ degree weather last year.

Big YES to maxi dresses, not so much jumpsuits and rompers...I have a really short torso and they tend to fit me weird 😉 I would LOVE a pair of over-sized coach sun glasses though!!

This spring I've got my eye on cute summery dresses, and maybe a new bag. But I'm like you - I tend to not spend a lot of money on material things! Mostly food 😉

So on top of baking we also need to go shopping together? Uh YES!! I'm obsessed with rompers! However Maxi dresses do get in the way of my life sometimes so I prefer midi or just knee length or above the knee dresses/skirts. The warmer weather definitely has brightened my spirit tenfold and I can feel it has warmed your already sunny one as well! Much love!

I'm not one for rompers or jumpsuits, but I love maxi dresses! I've even figured out a couple of sophisticated ways to style them so that I can make them work for the office. I know that capris were declared "out" at some point last year in favor of long shorts but I'm still a fan. They're great for spring.

According to my husband (who works in technology) the Droid Turbo is a "quite good" phone, and has good battery life.

You are kind of making me want one for myself though 🙂 Once the shopping beast is awakened in me it's unstoppable! I also love aviator sunglasses but they never quite fit right on me I've found. Maxis are definitely a staple, I love strappy-back maxis 🙂
