You know those weeks where everything goes the exact opposite as you'd had planned? Yea, it was one of those weeks and I am more than ready for the weekend and a fresh start! On a high note, next week is "Spring Break"! By Spring Break, I mean, that awkward week in March where we don't have "classes" but your professors still give you work and tell you to start on final papers, projects, etc. Which is fine...I'd be starting them anyway, but I think it's silly to just waste a week off. Let's just keep moving and get out earlier, right?

    Sigh, I hate it when professors ruin spring break by giving you projects and work throughout, haha. :[ I hope you're having a good weekend!

    I really need to physically declutter my apartment, but I could definitely do with some unplugging and kicking out guilt too!

    Happy Friday Rebecca. I'm going to make that Date Night Salt and Pepper Hearts Of Palm. I've only had Hearts of Palm in salads, can't wait to try them cooked. Have a great weekend.

Celiac Disease is NOT a food allergy 🚫🍞 So Celiac Disease is NOT a food allergy 🚫🍞

So many people still confuse the two, but it’s an autoimmune disease, not an allergy. That means gluten doesn’t cause an immediate allergic reaction resulting in hives or swelling…it causes your immune system to attack your small intestine longterm. 

This distinction matters because:
👉 There’s no medication or quick fix
👉 The only treatment is a strict, lifelong gluten-free diet
👉 Mislabeling it as an “allergy” is scientifically incorrect. There is no such thing as a gluten allergy.
