Friday Finisher 8/9/13

August 9, 2013 by Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine 7 Comments

Okay… I am pretty sure this was the fastest week yet! How is it possible Friday! Crazy! Well do I have some news for you!…I got my license! I am officially a licensed driver, o how happy I am. I can not even tell you how nervous I was, I had been dreading the test for weeks, I was so scared. But at the start I calmed myself down, took some deep breaths, and just acted like this was a normal practice with my mom in the car. However, I wish they would just test you on actually driving, like on the highway, when there are other people around. Not stupid parallel parking and K-Turning. Really how often will I parallel park….probably never. I will look for a normal spot 😉 Well anyway I am ecstatic! Nothing will wipe the smile off my face today! Happy Friday Friends!

+ 10 Fast Facts About the FDA Gluten-Free Food Labeling Rule

Do you tell yourself you aren’t doing enough or you need to do more?

A few things I loved about my week or am grateful for:

+ I loved how fun it was to take all my yoga-selfies last weekend. They reminded me how beautiful the body is and how I need to appreciate my own body.

+ 61 days (and going strong) of being (eyebrow and eyelash) trich free.

+ Finally got my hands on a box of my favorite Wild Alaskan Salmon Burgers! They are so are to find these days…and so expensive when I do.

+ I got the first draft of my Common App college essay typed up! Now it’s time to do some serious editing…

+ And of course…getting my License!

So Tell me:

Any good posts or pins from the week you want to share?

Have you ever taken “Yoga-Selfies” or had a yoga photo shoot? It is so much fun to do!

I adore that dress also, and think it would be so fun to make your own cornflakes. Also, I am so in love with your blog theme. I have been on the look out for a new one, do you mind if I steal it? 🙂

I know, I had such a hard time finding a good theme. But I guess you can’t ask for much when you don’t self-host, haha!
