Need a little refreshment? A Frosty Coconut Mint Green Tea Mocktail with natural coconut water will have you feeling hydrated, healthy, and luxurious! Just 3 simple ingredients and you will be sipping all day long!
We are in the midst of summer! Are you loving it? You know I am; this is the season I thrive in! I really just want to soak up every second of the sun and heat as much as I can! You won't hear me complaining about the heat! Since I wish for this weather all year, I embrace it full on!
I've mentioned it before, but not only do I love to eat, I LOVE to drink! I guzzle water, tea, and coffee all day long. I was actually struggling to drink just plain water during the winter this year. Not sure why, as even in the cold weather I still love to stay hydrated. I always found myself reaching for mugs of hot tea (semi water...just infused!). It just had to be something hot, but now? It has to be something cold!
From my morning coffee, when I can, it's iced. To putting a tea bag in my large water bottle and leaving it in the fridge to "brew". Of course, just simple water as well. What I'm totally loving most of all though, is the cold brewed tea! It couldn't be any easier! Just take your tea bag, stick it in your water bottle, leave it in the fridge (or on the counter) for a little while and enjoy! Why waste $4 on an unsweetened trenta iced passion tea at Starbucks when I can just make my own?
I know some people struggle with their water intake. My mom, she does big time. But, where there are more "welcoming" options to enjoy, drinking plain water seems less like a chore. So why not take my cold brew tea idea and amp up the water you use as well? Let's say, with some coconut water! ZICO's Natural Coconut Water is pretty much perfect for summer "cold brewing". It's 100% pure coconut water, with no added sugar, that's naturally hydrating with 5 electrolytes and as much potassium as a banana!
Now take the benefits of coconut water and amp it up even further! Infuse it with some green tea, fresh mint, and ice...always ice! Just blend it all up in your blender and you have one delicious, hydrating, allergy-free, kid-friendly mocktail to sip poolside (or...just outside) 😉 Drinking coconut water will make you feel a little more tropical too, as we know. So even if you aren't on a tropical vacation this summer, you struggle with hydrating, and you need a nice cold refreshment...Grab a bottle of ZICO and some tea and get brewing!

I totally agree with you, drinking water can be a struggle sometimes. I also drink mainly cold brewed tea, that's my absolutely favorite thing and usually the only way to drink a lot.
Anyways, this mocktail sounds absolutely fantastic, I know I'd love this so much! Such a great flavor combo <3
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Well then this is perfect!!! It kind of pains we to turn the kettle on now...cold brewing is where it's at!
Laura | Wandercooks
Oh the struggle is real. It's winter where I am right now and I know I'm not drinking enough water but hot teas are all I can think about. Literally cannot wait for summer so I can try this recipe! What a pretty looking drink. I am not a fan of coconut water (on it's own) so perhaps this would make it taste much better. I'm sure the addition of refreshing mint really helps.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I wasn't either, but this is the way to do it!
Robyn @ Simply Fresh Dinners
Oh my goodness, this sounds so refreshing and your photos are lovely, Rebecca! I love this sparkling drink and it's especially hot right now so it will be on my table. I like summer but it's a little too hot for me at the moment. After all, I'm a Canadian and we have ice cubes in our veins 🙂

xoxo Thank you Robyn!

Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Perfect way to change it up, right? 😉

Ah, I see you are a fan of green tea too! Excellent!
I'm always looking for different ways to take mine. Normally it's just one green tea bag in a pot of hot water with half a lemon and I'll enjoy that with my breakfast. Love the look of this Mocktail! 🙂
We're all about the "green" drinks at the moment. I've got a green smoothie for publishing next Thursday on my blog that you might like? 😀
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
O well if it's cold...I'll be all for it 😉

Rebecca I love how refreshing this mocktail is - I adore coonut water - there's a South Asian Store that sells it fresh from the coconut near my work and I indulge often - nothing like fresh coconut water right?! But, I also love that you are a fellow heat/summer lover! Yay! I was starting to think I was the only one! So, cheers, here's hoping for a long and hot summer!

That sounds like a great idea! I love tea and coffee but I have a hard time drinking as much water as the experts want me to drink. Even though I love ice cold water I still have a hard time guzzling that much water in a day. But your idea is great and I love the mint too! I will have to try this and see if this works for me! Thanks so much for the tips!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I hope so! Anyway you can pack in the water (coconut or not!) do it!! The more you drink the easier it is and you get used to it!
