The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide + {A Spectacular Giveaway}

Published: Nov 25, 2014 · Modified: Dec 22, 2014 by Rebecca Pytell · This post may contain affiliate links.

Enough with the boring typical gift guides. I know everyone wants a Vitamix...but let's face it, they're just so damn expensive. Plus, I bet you aren't willing to spend that kind of dough on just anyone. So instead of crazy expensive (but of course great) appliances, wine, a mini food processor, you know, the typical fare, I've put together some more "fun" things! Plus if you read all the way through, there is am amazing giveaway you do not want to miss! It would be the perfect gift for a loved foodie...or yourself 😉

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Some of these things I don't have, but they seem awesome so I thought I'd include them all! A lot of these I do have so I know they will make any foodie very happy! Everything is reasonably priced too which is what we all want. The big ticket "foodie" item I have on my list this year is a dehydrator. I got a blender and spiralizer last year, so now all that's left is a dehydrator 😉

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Windy City Organics Dastony Coconut Butter, I'm Trying To Be Awesome Ceramic Coffee Mug, Norpro Nonstick Bear Pancake Rings, SweetLeaf Stevia, Tasty Tortilla Bowl Maker, OATrageous Oatmeals Cookbook, Wilton 12 Cavity Round Ice Cream Sandwich Pan, The Chia Cookbook, Soom Tahini
.

The Ultimate Unique Foodie Gift Guide | Strength and Sunshine #holidays #gifts #foodie

Chocolate Mint Tea, Rectangular Silicone Reusable Baking Cups, WEDO Banana Flour, Wilton Donut Pan, Paderno World Cuisine Spiralizer, Proctor Silex Sandwich Toaster, Homemade Granola, My Oatmeal, New Grounds Food CoffeeBar

Now aren't all those things fun 😉 You know I'm all about making homemade gifts, but I don't know if I am going to have the time this year 🙁 However, no one in my family is a foodie...they could all really care less, haha! My mom is all about movies, music, books, that kind of stuff. My brother is all sports. My dad...I really haven't a clue! What I'm thinking is, I should just wrap myself up in a box and jump out on Christmas morning saying, "My Christmas gift to you is...ME!" I know they all miss me so much anyway 😉 Plus I'm free of charge!

Okay, enough holiday weirdness. I guess It's time to talk giveaways! You all know I have recently (over the past few months) become obsessed with oatmeal. Not just any oatmeal, but MyOatmeal. My Instagram is full of pictures of my lovely oatmeal breakfasts 😉 I can't get enough of the stuff. The latest custom blend that I made and am obsessed with the most is my Maple Flax Banana Bread! I'd totally be okay if this was the last thing I ever ate.

MyOatmeal Giveaway | Strength and Sunshine @RebeccaGF666 #myoatmeal #giveaway

I am so happy that my tummy is better at handling oats now! I still can't eat this 24/7, but oatmeal in the morning a few times a week is perfect and keeps me excited! Anyway, you yourself could win $25 to make you own custom blend(s) at MyOatmeal. Or you could be super nice and create a special blend to give as a gift this holiday season! If I was your foodie friend, and you gave me this...I would love you forever and ever!

The Giveaway: TWO (yes two) lucky readers will win $25 (each) to spend however they'd like at MyOatmeal.com! The giveaway will be open until Monday (12/01) at midnight. I will contact the winners directly and post their names in the rafflecopter box below.

But wait, that's not all! Since you all can't win...sorry, that's life, haha, I've also got a special discount anyone can use to order MyOatmeal! Just use the code: Pytell15 and get 15% off your entire order! Crazy good! Hello Black Friday, Cyber Monday shopping!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

So tell me:

+ What's your number one wish list item you're hoping to receive this year?

Make sure to check out last years gift guides for more fun ideas! For the foodie, for the yogi, and for the fitness fanatic!

Love these gift ideas. Sadly, no one in my family is a foodie either and that's typically who I buy gifts for (friends get the homemade kind). But maybe I'll send this to my hubby for hints as gifts for me!

That's because Tamron is too freaking expensive. Nobody should be familiar with them.. maybe then they'd reduce their prices! LOL

This isn't actually a macro lens. It's the much less expensive version of their new one, which has image stabilization and can wash your dishes while you take food photos (LOL)... it retails for $1500 instead of $500!

I've been wanting to order something from MyOatmeal for a while, because build-you-own anything is fun to me, but their "flavors" confuse me. They all sound so gosh darn yummy, but I don't understand how they do it, and I don't like eating things I don't understand the ingredients of. I guess I could just skip the flavors section, but I want to know how they do it??

I'm not really sure what tops my list other than...money and textbooks <- so I won't have to buy them myself. 😡 This may or may not have to do with the fact that I came across a Gabe's yesterday and went a little crazy with the cute-cold-weather workout clothes. 😡

Celiac Disease is NOT a food allergy 🚫🍞 So Celiac Disease is NOT a food allergy 🚫🍞

So many people still confuse the two, but it’s an autoimmune disease, not an allergy. That means gluten doesn’t cause an immediate allergic reaction resulting in hives or swelling…it causes your immune system to attack your small intestine longterm.

This distinction matters because:
👉 There’s no medication or quick fix
👉 The only treatment is a strict, lifelong gluten-free diet
👉 Mislabeling it as an “allergy” is scientifically incorrect. There is no such thing as a gluten allergy.

Swipe through to learn why the distinction is inportant and why accurate education and awareness is paramount. Let’s set the record straight and not mislabel our disease when speaking about it. 💛
