Thanksgiving is next week, guys! Only 6 days! It feels like it was just Thanksgiving (last year), a super cold and rainy day. I remember being stuck at school, watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and testing out some recipes in the kitchen while I had some free time (before FINALS!). Not sure what's planned for this year, but there is going to be some stuffing and of course...potatoes! I have one more KILLER Thanksgiving/holiday recipe to share with you on Monday. A bit late for T-Day, but it's an all-around holiday classic and I think you'll be impressed 😉 It is super yummy!
I've knocked out a bunch of school work ahead of time so I can semi-enjoy a little relaxation next week (but I still have this big long final paper for one of my classes looming over my head...) That's why I say semi-enjoy and semi-relax, because I can never stop ALL work.
Next week's Friday Finisher will be BLACK FRIDAY! I'll gather up some steals and deals for you to check out, don't you worry 😉 Until then, have a great weekend!

Our plans for Thanksgiving are pretty simple. We cook all our favorite foods but not Thanksgiving (only eat once a year style) we like stove top stuffing, Lipton chicken noodles, gravy (lots of gravy), instant potatoes, corn and more. I'm all about the sides and not much of a pie person. It's just me and hubby (plus chihuahua) so we keep it as simple as possible.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
The sides are the actual star and I'm with you on the pie 😛
