Do I have something delicious to share! We all know the magic we can create with the humble cauliflower, and this recipe just adds to that magic tenfold, just like this grilled cabbage recipe, grilled eggplant, and even grilled mushroom steaks! These grilled ginger cauliflower steaks are guaranteed to end any veggie haters snubbing of plants. These steaks come out so tender and soft. The flavors of ginger with a special "nutty" tahini sauce with some coconut aminos and chili paste...so good!

You know, I really don't think there is any bad food when you grill it. Grilling = Amazing. You can transform any food, any ingredient into something so spectacular, all by using a certain cooking method. That's even more magic for you! I actually think grilling is easier than roasting or baking something. Once you get the hang of using your own grill and you know the ins and outs, it becomes a piece of cake!

During the learning process, yes, you may end up catching things on fire, but it's all worth it! Chicken, for instance, is IMMENSELY better and much easier to cook perfectly when grilled. In the summer, my family requests I only cook chicken on the grill (and I would only have it that way too!) It's just perfect and I know exactly how to do it. It's all a science and a rhythmΒ once you learn!

Lucky duck you, I grilled these cauliflower steaks right inside on my grill pan. You don't have to worry about running out of gas or fire! So it's even easier for you and you can do this all year long, not just when the weather cooperates! You get to watch it and smell it too. You can easily make sure those grill marks look beautiful and picture worthy! Grilling, my love runs deep! It always used to be such a treat when my dad would be home to grill something for me! Now, I call myself the GRILL MASTER!

These flavors are just stunning together! The ginger and tahini. Add that smoky grilled taste and you'll be cauli-loving! You haven't had cauliflower until you've had grilled ginger cauliflower steaks (and that killer tahini sauce!) If you're looking for a fantastic non-stick grill pan, I do recommend this one I have. You know I know my "appliances" and this grill pan is spectacular! Always such clean, perfectΒ results!

So tell me:

+ Ever make cauliflower steaks? Many people do them roasted, but grilled is 100% better!

+ Are you the (self-proclaimed) grill master in the family? ...yes!

Me and cauliflower - we go through phases. Sometimes I don't want to look at it, other's I eat it every single day, occasionally for multiple meals. Right now I'm in the latter phase and bought two heads instead of one on Saturday, down to one already now. I've never grilled it, though, and don't lure me into buying a grill pan because: no money for extra kitchen equipment and definitely no storage space ;). I have a pretty good non-stick pan, though, so I might just try using that because these look goooood.

I love making cauliflower steaks! Or anything out of cauliflower . . . plus tahini, and this is like a dream!

I usually pan saute my caulflower steaks because they seem to fall apart on me on the grill (guess I'm not the grillmaster!), but maybe I'll try again with a pan on the grill. Your tahini sauce sounds divine on ... anything!

This vegan gumbo recipe is still hearty and full-flavored without meat or seafood. Fully plant-based without any mock meat or soy, just whole food ingredients! We are replacing the animal protein with kidney beans, potatoes, and hearts of palm. This trifecta provides meaty textures and protein to the stew, plus reduces the need for extra cooking time since we’re taking the lazy way and using canned ingredients. The roux is made with gluten-free flour and vegan butter for a thick, rich, hearty stew that will stick to your bones.πŸ˜‹πŸ™Œ
