Do you ever get that feeling like you're just waiting for something? Something new and big to happen that will change the course you're currently on? Not even distinctly good or bad, just something. And no, it's not that school and classes are starting, that's not it. There's just something there, something just our of sight, earshot, reach. Somethings coming, but I guess all I can do is wait and see.
A quick note before you dig in to this week's Finisher. My posting date for the Recipe ReDux is the 22nd of every month, so I'll be doing a quick post tomorrow! Make sure to stop by and check it out! And now, after this short into, you have plenty of time for Friday Finisher clicking, reading, and pinning! xoxo

This was fantastic! I so agree on a photo focused blog may not always be the best FOOD blog. The art of cooking is becoming so tampered down and hidden under so many food-blog-posers. You are a food blogger or you're not. Not a fitness/mommy/food/running/diy/book/humor/personal/cat/travel/relationship/what-have you blogger who posts a no-bake something-butter recipe (iphone pic and all) a few times and then you are a food blogger. Rant over <3

Oh my gosh Rebecca! I am so late to this party, but thank you so much for the feature. 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Ha, sure!
Audrey @ Unconventional Baker
Thank you so much for the link love, Rebecca! Glad we share a pumpkin obsession 😀
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Pumpkin love always!
Linda @ Veganosity
Yay! I'm finally caught up from last week, and I saved the best for last. 🙂 I 100% agree with the parenting article. Parents forget that their kids are individuals. They have their own personalities and their own ideas. We can only do so much.
Summer just started in Chicago so I'm not ready for fall. Just give me another month.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I was graced with parents who never pushed me to be anyone other than myself!
Just give me perpetual summer 😉
Linda Blatchford
I really like the post about not enough time to do things. During the workweek, I break things down into 1 task to do for the day. More than that is unlikely to get done.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I always say, if you accomplish one good task a day, that day was worth it and not wasted!
Bianca @ ElephantasticVegan
Hahaha..love that pep talk generator! Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh and I'd totally be up for fall recipes now. It's much more autumn-y here than last week so it's only a matter of time until I buy my first pumpkin.
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I thought that was niffty 😉
I'll probably wait until mid-september....I love the pumpkin, I just love the summer more!
Trisha @ The Ham & Cheese Of It
WOW what a long list of awesome blog posts! There are just so many. I can't believe you had time to read all of these.

Wow such an awesome and comprehensive list! I can't wait until I have a bit of time to go through the ones that really intrigued me (basically all of them).

Again, I now have like 10 tabs open. You always find so many interesting things to share Rebecca. That fig newton smoothie, yes, like now. And I LOVED the post on fruit from The Detoxinista. Have a great day!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Woohoo! Fruit-it-up girl!
Lisa @ RunWiki
Yes! I feel that way too- when things have gone too smooth for too long, I brace myself for change. I don't view this as, "bad" I view it as, "hard" but life IS hard and if we never embrace change life would be one big unsalted potato! Thank you so much for linking up Bry's article- she brings up some many great points.. shaming people is for the weak. Love you! Gave a great weekend! xoxo
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Haha, well maybe that's why I hate salt 😛
It was a wonderful, raw post! Thank you for having her on the blog!
Enjoy the weekend dear! xoxo
Erin @ The Grass Skirt
Yes! I watch I Love Lucy every single morning while I am cooking breakfast for the kids and myself. My son is only just shy of three, and he loves The Golden Girls. I think he might already have a thing for older women. 😉
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Hahahaha, too funny 😉 I love those morning shows though! I wish TV shows were still like that!
Lindsay
Something is coming! I can feel it! Good things! And can't wait to see your redux
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Haha, thanks Lindsay 😉
Natalie | Feasting on Fruit
That post about eating "too much" fruit, LOVE IT!! I was worried for a minute because there are lots of posts out there poo pooing fruit and saying like eat only 1/2 an apple a day or something ridiculous, but it turned out to be exactly in line with my philosophy: abundance!!! And I have some serious tripod envy of Ashley's photography setup 😮 And those TWO gorgeous windows in her kitchen for photos!!! I WANT!!!!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
1/2 an apple, haha that's my mom 😛
I WANT WINDOWS!!!!!!!
Chrissa - Physical Kitchness
OH wow I am loving this list. So many good recipes! Perfect for my meal planning to-do today!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Have fun!
Jessica @ Balance and Thyme
I know that exact feeling you mean, when you feel a change is coming. I've been feeling this for a few months now and it has been interesting to see exactly what happens. Just this summer I ended a toxic friendship and registered for Yoga Teacher Training. I'm sure there must be more to come as well.
Thanks for all the juicy links. I can't wait to read up. Have a wonderful weekend!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Well those 2 things both some amazing for living in joy!
Susie @ SuzLyfe
SO many great links this week! And I agree, must have Lindsay's Fig Newton smoothie
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
Figs are just too good!

Wait...did I read $26 almond butter?! That'll put me in the poor house, haha!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I'm pretty sure she must be talking about a bulk jar....
