Do you ever get that feeling like you’re just waiting for something? Something new and big to happen that will change the course you’re currently on? Not even distinctly good or bad, just something. And no, it’s not that school and classes are starting, that’s not it. There’s just something there, something just our of sight, earshot, reach. Somethings coming, but I guess all I can do is wait and see.
A quick note before you dig in to this week’s Finisher. My posting date for the Recipe ReDux is the 22nd of every month, so I’ll be doing a quick post tomorrow! Make sure to stop by and check it out! And now, after this short into, you have plenty of time for Friday Finisher clicking, reading, and pinning! xoxo

Blog Posts and Links I loved this week:
Life, Mind, Body, Spirit:
Stop assuming! Stop!
Hey GOMI trolls! This is for you!
Piggy-backing off the last link…
You don’t, shouldn’t, simply can’t, do it all.
In case you ever need a little boost 🙂
I’d say this is some quality advice.
So many! I bet you do a lot already, but maybe you can add some!
The immense power of words. You’re never “just” saying.
Make a “to-don’t” list!
This is actually a helpful post. There are so many on meditation, but this one really stood out.
Powerful. We should all be seeking to live in the present moment, mind, and body.
Only you can hold yourself back or push yourself forward.
Alysa is such a beautiful writer. I can’t help but include her every week!
Just a few moments can be all you need.
Sometimes you may be taking it too far.
Great reminders for runners (and drivers). You must never assume!
This is essential for anything in life! Just take that one small step!
“Yoga is not perfection”, that’s great!
Hahaha! Love this!
Well at least someone found some love there 😛
Plant power? Yes!
Where do you fall on this?
This may surprise you!
Hot fires!!! I remember how much I loved buying those at snack time!
Let me just say: No Food Waste!
Cooking and meals should be the least stressful thing in your day!
That’s why I want to travel!
Yes, please! (The second to last one…!!!)
For those of us already “healthy eaters”, you won’t see much difference.
Because it’s meaningful!
Blogging, Social Media, Tech & Photography:
Read a lot and truly try to write with your authentic voice.
Just like kitchen tools, I love photo equipment (even if I don’t have much!)
O, haha that silly Bloglovin challenge. Too bad they just never update my blog’s feed for weeks anyway.
This is so true!
Great rundown on exposure settings!
This was fantastic! I so agree on a photo focused blog may not always be the best FOOD blog. The art of cooking is becoming so tampered down and hidden under so many food-blog-posers. You are a food blogger or you’re not. Not a fitness/mommy/food/running/diy/book/humor/personal/cat/travel/relationship/what-have you blogger who posts a no-bake something-butter recipe (iphone pic and all) a few times and then you are a food blogger. Rant over <3
And just one notebook at that!
Make those images pop!
And awesome tools to use for each one!
I don’t know about you, but I like fashions back in the day.
Nothing like the smell and feel of clean sheets!
You may want to rethink the whole “homemade cleaner” thing.
Basically, it’s out of your control.
Another great post from Teri, and I totally agree!
Some of these are really cool! Clean your grill with an onion and turn your steering wheel 180 degrees!
Hahahaha! Proves that jealousy = hate!

Curried Risotto with Squash Blossoms. This is a stunning and mouth-watering dish!
Sliceable Vegan Cashew Cheese. This looks super easy too! I have everything I need!
Vegan Baked Oil-Free Hushpuppies. O my gosh! I’d forgotten all about these! (I never liked them), but these look amazing!
Plum Glazed Salmon. Check out this glaze! The flavors are exquisite!
Fig Newton Breakfast Smoothie. I’ve had this weird craving for Fig Newtons the past few weeks…need to make some (since I can’t buy them!)
Black Rice Crunch Salad with Creamy Curried Cashew Dressing. The fruit (most notably those grapes!) and the curried cashew dressing…perfect together!
Sunflower Carrot Salad. So elegantly simple and beautiful!
Sweet Potato & Quinoa Salad with Date-Dijon Dressing. That dressing with the sweets <3
Truffle Salted Potatoes with Thyme & Lemon. O yum, fancy potatoes!
A few things I loved about my week or am grateful for:
+ Finally got my hands on some unsweetened So Delicious coconut yogurt! O, and So Delicious just unveiled gluten-free vegan mac n’ cheese!!!!!!
+ I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls. No joke, they make the mornings even better 😛 Woohoo Hallmark channel!
So tell me:
+ You know what I’m talking about in my intro? That feeling?
+ When do you want to start seeing Fall (you know, and pumpkin) recipes? One blogger friend said she asked her readers and they said bring it!
