A sweet round-up of the best top 9 allergen-free, gluten-free, and vegan Halloween Candy options for 2025! Delicious candies, chocolates, and sweet treats for everyone to enjoy and stuff their Halloween basket full! Conventional and healthier allergy-free Halloween candy alternatives that kids and adults can enjoy this spooky season!

allergy-free halloween candy options list graphic.

Every candy linked below is top 9 allergen-free, gluten-free, and vegan. Some conventional candies are already allergy-friendly and some classic candies and chocolates need an allergy-safe remake! This list has safe options for all the most popular and classic candies! The alternatives tend to all be "healthier", meaning no corn, dyes, or artificial ingredients, but it's Halloween so no judgment.

This list is dairy-free, egg-free, tree nut-free, peanut-free, sesame-free, wheat-free, gluten-free, soy-free, animal-free (no animal gelatin, honey, or beeswax), fish-free, and shellfish-free. Coconut and corn are found in this list since both are not considered top 9 allergens. (Remember ALWAYS to check package ingredients, regardless. Size, variety, production, and facility are always subject to change).

I found your page via Google, searching for allergy free candy. I just found out a little neighbor has peanut and egg allergies, so I want to be able to find some candy that will be enjoyed without having to worry (much, hopefully). Thank you for list, it has helped me so much!

Thanks for this list. My daughter has an allergy to Red dye 40 where she breaks out in hives, so Halloween treats are always a time for her to sigh and accept that she can't enjoy over 50% of what's in her bag. We're doing the Teal Pumpkin Project this year and handing out little toys instead of food. I know a few places in our neighborhood do this already, and I have friends whose kids have kids with peanut allergies, and my brother in law has tree nut allergies, so this post is a big positive for us. I can't wait to share it with others!

    HI Rebecca,
I truly appreciate you giving such a great list of alternative treats for Halloween because there sure are a lot of children out there that have so many food allergies. Besides the treats you buy in most stores are filled toxic chemicals.

Thank you for posting this list! With so many allergies out there it can be hard sometimes to come up with treats that all kids can have. I'm in charge of the Halloween Party for Aurora's class this year so this will come in handy as I know this year there are children with both dairy allergies as well as gluten free, but will be checking to see if there are others.

In your excitement about all the options you forgot to let us know what we should tell you ;). But I'll just go ahead and say that I went trick-or-treating less times than I can count on one hand in my childhood. Halloween's not popular over here but we did particpate in 'Laternelaufen'/lantern parades. And the candy was obviously the best part. What's not to like about getting oodles more of candy than your parents would ever allow you?! (:
