From kindergarten to college, healthy snacks are needed to keep us focused, fueled, and ready to soak up every bit of knowledge that we can. Not all of us can safely eat a granola bar or handful of nuts to keep us going. And no one wants to have a reaction and become sick in school. But stress be gone! There are plenty of healthy gluten-free and allergy-free snack options to put the minds of parents and students at ease. Here are some of my 100% gluten-free and allergy-free healthy snack options to keep eager minds bright and retentive!
Snackable Raw Veggies: Sugar Snap Peas, Snow Peas, Green Beans, Celery, Carrots, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Grape Tomatoes, Broccoli or Cauliflower Florets, Dehydrated Veggie Chips
Snackable Fruits: Apples, Bananas, Grapes, Pears, Stone-Fruit (if in season), Berries, Orange Slices, Homemade Fruit Leathers, Dehydrated Fruits, Dried Fruits (raisins, figs)
For Dipping & Spreading: Hummus/Bean Dips (Balsamic Roasted Red Pepper Basil Hummus, Garlic Kale Hummus), Seed Butters (Sunflower Butter, Pumpkin Butter, Tahini (Sesame Seed), Hemp Seed Butter), Veggies or Fruit Salsas (Peach Zucchini Salsa), Mustard, Ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Fruit Jams/Butters (Raw Raspberry Fig Chia Jam)
Crunchy Snacking: Roasted Chickpeas (Smoked Paprika Cinnamon Chickpeas, Cinnamon "Sugar" Chickpeas), Homemade "Tortilla Chips", Homemade Plantain Chips or Root Vegetable Chips, Popcorn, Popped Sorghum, Dry Allergy-Free Cereals/Granolas, Roasted/Raw Seeds (Sunflower, Pumpkin)

Love this so much - it's super helpful! My kids can't bring nuts into the classroom and figuring out healthy snacks is hard - they wind up with fruit and a little bag of gf cereal or something every day. But we need variety!
